Jason Watkins and his wife, Clara Francis, attended the Pride of Britain Awards in London on Monday night.
The 62-year-old actor and his wife are frequent attendees of the ceremony, and they are well-known for their support of Child Bereavement UK.
Since their daughter, Maude, sadly passed away from sepsis in 2011, the couple has worked tirelessly to educate people about the condition.
Jason and Clara support Child Bereavement UK and shared their personal story in an ITV documentary, ‘Jason & Clara: In Memory of Maudie,’ which detailed their experience with loss.
Clara looked beautiful that evening in a mustard yellow dress with delicate frills. She completed the outfit with a red clutch and matching heels.
Jason opted for a sharp navy suit, which he wore with a white shirt and burgundy tie.

The couple agreed to let cameras film them as they packed up their home, the place where their daughter had been born and tragically passed away.
The show featured scenes, mixed with personal photos and videos of Maude, of Clara and her daughter starting therapy. Clara shared that she still feels the emotional impact of the car ride to the hospital with her daughter.
They also offered comfort to their 13-year-old son, Gilbert, who became emotional while visiting a memorial bench dedicated to the sister he never had the chance to meet.
The couple has worked incredibly hard to increase awareness of sepsis. Jason even completed a special training program at King’s College Hospital designed to help doctors and other healthcare workers recognize the early warning signs of the condition.
Jason found visiting the morgue and coroner’s court particularly upsetting. He explained that he struggled with the thought of his loved one being alone when she was transported in the ambulance and arrived at this place.
I realize it might sound unsettling, but talking about it helps me feel a little lighter. It’s also a way of acknowledging that she lived, that she was once here, and remembering her beyond where she is now.
He acknowledged the mistake, expressing frustration and a desperate hope that identifying the issue will prevent future tragedies. He recognizes this hope is unrealistic, as sepsis is a serious condition and sadly, children will continue to be affected, but he clings to the idea that resolving the problem might somehow bring his daughter, Maude, back to health.
Clara and Jason joined a support group where parents shared stories about the children they’d lost, offering each other comfort and understanding.

The couple now campaign for better awareness of recognising the signs of sepsis.
Jason and Clara, a fashion designer, got married in 2014. They have three children: daughters Maude and Bessie, and son Gilbert. Sadly, their daughter Maude has passed away.
The awards ceremony, held at Grosvenor House, will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX this Thursday, October 23rd, at 8 PM.
Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks will host the red carpet event for the second year in a row, broadcasting live on YouTube. GK Barry is also returning to create online content.
Held annually since 1999, this event celebrates the incredible accomplishments of people throughout the UK, from all different backgrounds. Nominees are chosen by the public.
Once the initial thousands of applications are narrowed down, the Pride of Britain judging panel selects the winners.
Hundreds of the UK’s biggest stars will come together to celebrate the nation’s unsung heroes.
A host of celebrities, including Cat Deeley, Sam Ryder, Jesy Nelson, Denise Van Outen, Katie Piper, Louise Redknapp, Rob Rinder, Olivia Attwood, Harry Redknapp, Vicky Pattinson, Ben Shephard, and Dani Dyer, are expected to attend the glamorous event and walk the red carpet.
Before the glamorous event, Carol explained that each year, the Pride of Britain winners reveal something meaningful about our society.
With so much negativity and disagreement in the world today, this year’s winners remind us of what truly unites us: bravery, understanding, and a genuine concern for others.
I’m really excited to meet them and share their accomplishments with others. It’s going to be a privilege getting to know them.
Ashley also shared that meeting the Pride of Britain winners is a wonderful experience, and she’s especially excited about this year’s event.
Their accomplishments are truly remarkable, and it’s striking how humble they remain about them.
There’s nothing better than publicly celebrating these people and letting them know how much the entire country values and loves them.
