Jason Statham returns to the big screen this week in Shelter, an action thriller where he plays a loner forced to face his troubled history. After saving a young girl from a dangerous storm, he must use his skills to keep her safe from those who want to harm her. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh.
Like many recent Jason Statham films such as The Beekeeper and A Working Man, Shelter seems to deliver exactly what fans want. Early reviews are in, and most agree it’s a non-stop action movie – Deadline called it “relentless” – and it currently has a 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. We’re not disappointed!
