Jason Statham is known for playing tough characters, and now he’ll be playing an even tougher one – himself! He’s starring in a new action comedy called Jason Statham Stole My Bike, where he’ll portray a fictionalized version of his own life. The movie will be directed by David Leitch, who previously worked on Deadpool 2 and Bullet Train, according to Deadline.
The movie, scheduled to begin filming in May, is being made independently with a large $80 million budget. However, the filmmakers are aiming for a PG-13 rating to reach a broad audience.
Okay, so the story is still pretty mysterious, but the announcement is hilarious – it basically says Jason Statham is playing… Jason Statham! Like, he’s playing a version of himself, a global action star. It’s a pretty cheeky way to announce the movie, honestly.

I’m really excited about this project! Not only is David Leitch directing, but he and his wife Kelly McCormick are producing it through their company, 87 North. Black Bear Pictures is helping out with production too, which is great. And the script? It’s by Alison Flierl, who wrote for BoJack Horseman – I loved her work on that show, so I have high hopes for this!
The new film, Jason Statham Stole My Bike, is creating buzz at the European Film Market in Berlin.

Recently, one of Jason Statham’s most successful movies has been The Beekeeper. It’s about a retired hitman who returns to action after a friend falls victim to a fraud.
So, they just announced a sequel! I’m really excited because Jason Statham is definitely coming back, and Kurt Winner is writing the script again. The only change is they’ve got a new director taking the helm this time around.

Jason Statham, known for his role in Meg 2: The Trench, recently appeared in the fast-paced action movie Shelter, alongside Daniel Mays, Bill Nighy, and Naomi Ackie.
The movie received good reviews overall. While the story wasn’t groundbreaking, critics agreed it was packed with exciting action that made it enjoyable.
Jason Statham Stole My Bike does not currently have a release date.
Okay, so a new magazine about Taylor Swift just dropped! It’s called Living Legends, it’s 100 pages long and completely in color. I just saw you can grab it at any newsstand or online for only £8.99. Definitely checking this out!
