Jason Orange’s Shocking New Venture After 2014 Exit from Take That!
It’s been shared that former member of the popular band Take That, Jason Orange, has embarked on an unexpected career change, following his departure from the group in search of a more tranquil existence away from the limelight in 2014.
In 1990, this ex-singer, who is now 54 years old, became well-known as a member of the original lineup of the popular music group, joining forces with adored performer Gary Barlow (age 53), Howard Donald (age 56), Robbie Williams (age 50), and Mark Owen (age 52).
Although Jason repeatedly referred to his bandmates as “brothers,” the singer chose to leave the group in 2014 and has generally kept a low profile since then.
On the other hand, it’s been reported by The Sun that the ’90s star has ventured into a different field, taking on a role as co-owner in the property company Nine The Firs and teaming up with Leicester City football icon, Neil Lennon.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jason and Neil for quite some time, and we even teamed up in a charity football match some years ago.
They explained: ‘Neil has a firm and Jason has come on board.
‘Jason prefers to live a quiet life out of the spotlight but has got a real flair for property.’

The source mentioned that the star had previously secured a position for someone else, with the client allegedly praising him as both ‘pleasant’ and ‘skilled’.
In 2014, Jason decided to leave the band as he had felt the need to depart from the group for quite some time. He was not keen on working on a new album, recording, or promoting it.
After Robbie left the group in 1995, Gary, Mark, and Howard carried on as a thriving three-piece act.
Back in 2006, I rejoined Take That after a decade away from the spotlight, but unlike my bandmates, I opted to stay out of the music scene during our ten-year hiatus.
He opted instead to try his hand at acting in a variety of stage productions.
Instead of attending the bustling London social scene, it’s said that he chose to spend his evenings at more subdued locations near his hometown of Manchester, preferring a quieter atmosphere.
In May of 2023, Take That made a comeback after a four-year hiatus and performed for the first time at King Charles III’s Coronation Concert held at Windsor Castle, but it was without the presence of Jason.
In June 2023, Mark shared with The Times that he believed Jason might have lost interest, although Mark clarified he wouldn’t presume to speak on behalf of him.
Even though we moved on, I recall that not long ago, we pondered over who the funniest member of our band was. It struck me then that Jason would always chuckle before reaching the joke’s climax.

Lead vocalist Gary earlier shared with The Sun: “Jason won’t be rejoining us. For the upcoming years, Take That will consist of Mark, Howard, and myself.
2018 saw Howard disclose that Jason had ceased taking calls following his decision to retreat into rural living, adopting a more ordinary lifestyle away from the limelight.
He shared with The Mirror, “Jason is out of reach. He isn’t responding to emails or phone calls and such. It seems beneficial for him,” he conveyed to the Loose Women group.
‘That’s where he wants to be. I think he wants to be a million miles away from this at the moment.’
Instead of attending the bustling London social scene, the celebrity is said to have chosen peaceful evenings at understated locations near his hometown of Manchester, rather than the glamorous parties.
During a chat with Metro, Gary mentioned that they occasionally receive updates from their bandmate, Jason.
When you respond to the email, it seems not to function properly. It appears that the situation is larger than what we all are aware of. He appears to have disconnected himself from a life that no longer appealed to him.
* In responding to your email, it doesn’t seem to be working correctly. The issue may be more extensive than we realize. It seems he has decided to separate himself from a life that held no appeal for him anymore.
* After replying to your email, there appears to have been an issue with the response. The predicament could be larger than what we understand. It looks like he’s chosen to disengage from a life that didn’t appeal to him any longer.
* Replying to your email seems to have caused a problem. The situation may be bigger than we think it is. It appears as if he’s chosen to withdraw from a life that no longer held any interest for him.
* In responding to the email, there was an apparent malfunction. The problem could be greater than we know. He seems to have decided to distance himself from a life that didn’t appeal to him anymore.
Each of these sentences conveys the same meaning while using different word choices and sentence structures.
If he were 20 years old, it might be appropriate for you to initiate the conversation, but since he’s an adult, we must acknowledge his choice not to participate. It wasn’t easy for us to see him leave.
Since he is a grown man, it would have been your role to start the discussion if he were 20, but given that he doesn’t wish to participate, we must respect his decision. Watching him depart was not an easy sight for us.
Gary also admitted that Jason ‘didn’t want any creative involvement’ and ‘wanted to leave’.
