Jason Momoa breaks silence on his son’s Dune 3 casting: “I don’t want to help him”

Jason Momoa has addressed his son’s recent casting in the upcoming Dune 3.

In the upcoming film, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa is said to portray Leto II, a character who is the son of Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet, and his partner Chani (Zendaya). Nakoa-Wolf will share the screen with Ida Brooke, who has been cast as Ghanima, Leto’s twin sister.

Nakoa-Wolf will join forces with his father Jason, who reappears as Duncan Idaho in the upcoming movie, even though he was killed off initially. In the Dune novels by Frank Herbert, the character is resurrected as a ghola, an artificially created human, bestowed upon Paul in the storyline.

Talking about his son’s initial acting role, Jason playfully warned him, “I think he’s in for quite a shock,” as he clarified, “It’s his first experience with the working world.

At the Chief of War premiere in Kapolei, Hawaii, Jason expressed to Extra that it’s going to be great because he accomplished it independently. He mentioned that he didn’t offer assistance, but instead, he managed everything single-handedly, which is impressive. Kudos to him!

The star expressed admiration for his son’s abilities and dedication, stating, “I hope my kids surpass me, and honestly, I think he has already done so. I simply can’t accomplish what he does at his current age.
