Jason Manford, 44, hints wife Lucy Dyke is expecting his SEVENTH child in cryptic post – two years after revealing he’d undergone a vasectomy

Comedian Jason Manford seemingly suggested his wife, Lucy Dyke, is pregnant with their seventh child in a puzzling Instagram post. This comes after he previously had a vasectomy in 2023.

The 44-year-old comedian, who already has two daughters with a TV producer, posted a photo on Sunday showing him seemingly in a hospital waiting room.

Jason posted a picture of an ultrasound with the caption ‘Here we go again,’ seemingly with a mix of amusement and resignation.

He has four children with his former wife, Catherine, whom he divorced in 2013: 15-year-old twin daughters, a 12-year-old daughter, and a 10-year-old son.

Daily Mail have contacted Jason’s representatives for comment. 

Okay, so I saw this post go up, and the reaction was immediate. Everyone flooded the comments section, totally trying to figure out if he was kidding or if he’s actually expecting another baby! It was a real moment of ‘wait, is this real?’ from his fans.

Someone seems surprised and playfully teasing, perhaps about a challenging situation. They’re then asking about the number seven. Following that, there’s enthusiastic congratulations, and a suggestion to get a cool van, like the one from the A-Team, now that the person has achieved something.

I was really surprised to hear Jason say in 2023 that he and his wife are done having kids! He shared on Loose Women that he actually had a vasectomy, so it sounds like their family is complete, which is lovely for them.

A vasectomy is a permanent form of birth control for men. It prevents sperm from being released during ejaculation.

When ITV asked if he planned to have more children, he jokingly replied that it would be medically impossible.

 ‘I did the respectable thing, eventually, and had the snip.’ 

I remember reading that he said he definitely doesn’t want any more kids – six is plenty! He even joked that he needs a spreadsheet just to keep track of them all, which I totally get!

Oh my gosh, he finally talked about his family! In this amazing interview, he confessed that flying alone with his kids on a super long flight isn’t nearly as stressful as everyone thinks. I mean, seriously, he makes it look so easy! It’s just… everything about him is perfect, even parenting, apparently!

He jokingly said the best way to handle kids is to have a lot of them – that way, they end up helping each other. But he admits six is plenty for him!

Jason explained that he flew alone with all six of his children. He admitted it was a little chaotic, but believes it’s not as difficult as people imagine. He said they eventually become quite self-sufficient during the flight.

Before adding: ‘I wouldn’t have anymore, absolutely not. 100 per cent no.

I’m currently with my sister, her partner, and their baby, but honestly, after just a few minutes of holding my nephew, I realized I don’t miss having a baby at all. I definitely don’t feel like I’m longing for that stage of life.

Earlier this year, a comedian surprised fans with a new Instagram post showing off his noticeably slimmer physique.

He shared a video promoting ticket sales for his next stand-up shows, but fans were more focused on his appearance, with many commenting that he looked noticeably thinner and younger.
