For years, his impeccable hairstyles and clean-shaven look have been as much a part of his iconic image as his witty humor and captivating performances.

His bizarre, bushy-haired look has been turning heads this past year.

But Jason Bateman is now officially back to his beard-free ways.

55-year-old Bateman unveiled his newly trimmed haircut at the Broadway premiere of McNeal in New York City on Monday.

His once long, shaggy hair that fell almost to his shoulders and his noticeably thick, gossiped-about beard are now a thing of the past.

Rather than appearing ordinary, the actor exuded an air of sophistication and style while attending the premiere of Robert Downey Jr.’s latest production.

It isn’t clear precisely when Jason made the decision to get a haircut, but he was already growing some facial hair on his chin and cheeks at that time.

It’s certainly a far cry from the appearance Jason had been working this past year.

A couple of months down the line, opinions about the appearance were shared as Jason stood next to Justin Theroux, both watching the New York Knicks play against the Philadelphia 76ers.
