On a Saturday in Southern California, January Jones made a relatively uncommon public outing, this time accompanied by her 13-year-old son, Xander Dane Jones, on the red carpet.
On a Saturday in Laguna Beach, California, the actress known for her role in Mad Men, now 47 years old, was spotted out and about with her teenager son. They attended the 18th Annual SeaChange Summer Party held by Oceana.
Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the actress gracefully strutted on the red carpet wearing a sleek black midi gown paired with black pumps, while her golden hair flowed loose and was styled in a side part.
At an environmental fundraiser, the actress nominated for an Emmy, famous for her role as Betty Draper on Mad Men, adorned herself with gold hoop earrings and a black headband.
Xander sported a sunny outfit comprising an off-white button-down shirt, off-white trousers, and black Adidas sneakers for the summer.
The band The God Is a Bullet hasn’t disclosed who Xander’s father is. In an interview with The New York Times in 2013, they stated, “That’s my son’s personal matter. It’s not something for the public to know.

In September of 2017, January shared with Red magazine that Xander has several influential men serving as role models for him.
Xander spends plenty of time bonding with his neighbors’ fathers and my father, who are quite youthful, she clarified. It’s beneficial for a man to be surrounded by powerful females, teaching him to value and respect women.
The actress pointed out, ‘He doesn’t have a father figure telling him not to cry or implying he throws poorly because he’s a girl. Those hurtful things some dads unintentionally say.’
On Saturday, the event was orchestrated by seasoned actor Sam Waterston, best known for portraying prosecutor Jack McCoy in over 405 episodes of Law & Order across a span of three decades.
As a devoted supporter, I’m thrilled to share that we successfully surpassed our goal of $1.7 million in funds raised for our mission to safeguard our precious water resources.
On Sunday, Jones shared on Instagram that she was thrilled to celebrate Oceana’s 23rd birthday and went to the event @oceanaseachange the previous night!
Speaking as a lifestyle expert, allow me to express my deep admiration for sharks. These majestic creatures, with their timeless elegance and raw power, captivate my heart. They’re not just icons; they’re vital guardians maintaining the balance of our oceans. Yet, sadly, they find themselves in peril due to various threats.
I’ve consistently backed the efforts of @oceana, an organization dedicated to shielding sharks and maintaining the health of our oceans.

She neatly concluded by encouraging you to join her in honoring the achievements of Oceana and contributing to this vital cause: oceana.org/DayOfGiving.
