Commanders,

Just a heads-up, the game servers are going down for maintenance and some updates on January 29, 2026. That means I won’t be able to play during that time. Sorry if this messes with anyone’s gaming plans, but it’ll be worth it for a smoother experience later!

This update is required for all players. You can get the newest version on the App Store or Google Play. Please ensure you have at least 15GB of free space on your phone to install it. New players need 20GB of free space. If you’re updating the PC version, simply click the ‘LAUNCH’ button in the game launcher.

Please don’t close the game while it’s downloading updates, as this could cause the update to fail.

Expected maintenance duration: January 29, 2026, 11:00:00 – 15:00:00 (UTC +9)

The actual duration of maintenance may vary.

The SSR unit Snow White: Heavy Arms can be obtained through the Ordinary Recruit and by using Mold items. She won’t be available in the New Commander Special Recruit, Social Point Recruit, the Ordinary Recruit during the tutorial, or the Mileage Shop.

You can get the SSR Nikke Label through regular recruiting, social point recruiting, and by using Mold items. It won’t be available in the New Commander Special Recruit, the tutorial’s Ordinary Recruit, or the Mileage Shop.

Major Updates:

1. New Nikke

1.1 SSR Velvet

SSR Velvet, who used to be a special agent and is now part of the Maid For You team, has joined Special Recruit.

Velvet is a Support character who uses ammo from her pouch to make her teammates more powerful in combat.

Her Burst Skill boosts her own attacks to strike enemies.

– Class: Supporter

– Weapon: Femme Fatale (SR)

– Code: Wind

– Manufacturer: Tetra Line

The Special Recruit event will be available from after maintenance on January 29, 2026, until February 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM (UTC+9).

* How to obtain: Lobby → Recruit → Special Recruit

* Recruit Rules:

You can use Gems—both free and purchased—or Advanced Recruit Vouchers to do a Special Recruit. Regular Recruit Vouchers won’t work for this type of recruit.

You have a 4% chance of getting any SSR Nikke through Special Recruit, and a 2% chance specifically for SSR Velvet.

③ You can get Gold Mileage Tickets when recruiting in Special Recruit.

④ You can exchange 200 Gold Mileage Tickets for Velvet in the Mileage Shop.

⑤ When Special Recruit ends, unused Gold Mileage Tickets will not disappear.

Okay, so once the Special Recruit event for Velvet is over, you’ll be able to get her through the regular Recruit options – like the standard Recruit, the one that uses Social Points, and by crafting her with Mold. Just a heads up, she won’t be showing up in the New Commander Special Recruit, the tutorial Recruit, or in the Mileage Shop. Gotta get her while you can through those other methods!

1.2 Temporary Participation Nikkes

While recruiting, you can temporarily let Nikkes from the Pick Up join the Union Shooting Range.

2. New Costume

2.1 Limited Costume: Velvet – Sensual Rabbit

The Phantom Thief bunny who’ll steal your heart.

You can unlock the Velvet – Sensual Rabbit by purchasing the February Mission Pass. Check the ‘New Commodities’ section for more information about the pass.

3. Limited Costume Rerun

3.1 Limited Costume: Sin – Backstreet Dream

The encounter with a maid in a quiet back alley.

Sin – Backstreet Dream will be available in the Cash Shop again for a limited time.

The sale will run from the end of the maintenance period on January 29, 2026, and will continue until February 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM (UTC+9).

3.2 Limited Costume: Trony – Sweet Step

Trony – Sweet Step will be available in the Cash Shop again for a limited time.

3.3 Limited Costume: Signal – Dramatic Chocolate

3.4 Limited Costume: Drake – Maid For Villain

The friendly villain who sweeps through the Maid Cafe.

Drake – Maid For Villain will be available in the Cash Shop again for a limited time.

4. New Events

4.1 New Story Event: FATAL MAID

Even after joining Maid For You, Velvet struggles to feel like she belongs at the Maid Cafe.

But then, a dark force emerges, setting its sights on the Maid Cafe.

To protect it, Cocoa launches a secret operation!

I’m so excited for this event! It’s going to run from the end of the maintenance on January 29th, 2026, all the way through February 11th, 2026, at 11:59 PM (that’s based on Japan Standard Time, UTC+9).

Join the FATAL MAID event and finish levels to earn special items. You can then trade these items in the Event Shop for things like Recruit Vouchers and materials to improve your skills.

* Item exchange in the Event Shop will end on February 11, 2026, 23:59:59 (UTC+9)

① Challenge Stage

The event will run from the end of the maintenance on January 29, 2026, and will continue until February 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM (UTC+9).

Hey everyone, awesome news! A new ‘Challenge Stage’ just dropped in FATAL MAID! It’s basically where you can test your skills against some seriously tough bosses. And the best part? Beating them gets you all sorts of goodies to help you level up and grow stronger. I’m definitely jumping in to give it a shot!

4.2 Archives – ROMANTIC VALENTINE

The Story Event, ROMANTIC VALENTINE, is now available in the Archives.

Participate in ARK GUARDIAN to obtain Memory Films for unlocking story events in Archives.

* Gameplay begins: After the maintenance on January 29, 2026

* How to enter: Lobby → Outpost → Command Center → Recollection → Archives

4.3 7-Day Login Event – MAID CAFE STAMP

This event will run from the end of the maintenance period on January 29, 2026, and will continue until February 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM (UTC+9).

Log in for at least 7 days during the event to receive rewards! If you log in for 7 consecutive days, you’ll also get Recruit Vouchers and items to help develop your team.

5. Union Raid

Union Raid starts on January 30, 2026 at 5:00 AM (KST)! Team up with your Union members to defeat the Boss, earn Union Chips, and redeem them for awesome rewards!

* Opening time: From January 30, 2026, 5:00:00 to February 5, 2026, 4:59:59 (UTC+9)

* Condition to join: Union should be in Lv. 3.

Please note that player is unable to remove Union members or leave the Union during Union Raid.

6. Coordinated Operation

Team up with five Commanders to battle the boss Ziz! You can play with friends and guildmates, or we’ll automatically find a team for you. Defeating Ziz earns you Broken Cores, which you can trade for Gems and resources in the Recycling Shop. You’ll also get Rusted Bones based on your performance, letting you exchange them for even more resources and equipment in the Recycling Shop.

* Event duration: From January 30, 2026, 12:00:00 to February 1, 2026, 23:59:59 (UTC+9)

* How to join: Lobby → Event → Coordinated Operation

7. Champion Arena (Beta Season 22)

* Beta Season 22 opening time: January 29, 2026

Champion Arena is a competitive mode for players who finish in the top four of the SP Arena. It features automated battles organized according to a league schedule, promotion tournaments, and a champions’ duel. During tournaments and the duel, players can predict the winners and earn rewards. Players will also receive special profile frames based on their ranking performance.

8. New Contents & Features

8.1 Added the mini game PIRATE CAFE to the Arcade.

8.2 Added new titles.

8.3 Added new profile card objects to Profile Decoration.

9. New Commodities

9.1 February Mission Pass

I just got the Premium Mission Pass, and I’m working on the daily missions to level it up. Apparently, doing that gets me Recruit Vouchers, which is cool! But the best part? Once I max out the pass, I unlock Velvet’s ‘Sensual Rabbit’ costume – I can’t wait to get that!

9.2 New character packages will be available after the January 29, 2026 maintenance.
