During the upcoming Pokémon GO Community Event, players can expect to encounter Jangmo-o. This presents an opportunity for trainers to catch a Shiny version of Jangmo-o, as well as a Kommo-o equipped with the special move, Clanging Scales, exclusively for this event.
Jangmo-o Community Day takes place Saturday, June 21 from 2 p.m until 5 p.m local time.
Everybody eagerly anticipates the annual June Community Day, known for showcasing a pseudo-legendary Pokémon. This year, it’s Jangmo-o that has garnered much attention, promising to excel in PvP matches and boasting an eye-catching, radiant shiny form. Therefore, this is the perfect opportunity to gather with friends and enjoy some Pokémon GO playtime together!
Jangmo-o Pokémon GO Community Day bonuses
The following bonuses will be in effect for trainers during Jangmo-o Community Day in Pokémon GO.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- 3× XP for catching Pokemon
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops during Jangmo-o Community Day
- Take a few Snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional special trade (for a maximum of 3)*
- Trades cost 50% less Stardust*
*These bonuses are active until 10pm local time.

At the event periods, you’ll notice that Jangmo-o will show up more often in the wild. Additionally, your chances of capturing a Shiny Jangmo-o will be higher during these times.
During the Jangmo-o Pokemon GO Community Day, evolving Hakamo-o into Kommo-o will grant them the special move, Clanging Scales, a Dragon-type attack. If you don’t have a Kommo-o yet, this is your chance to get it through evolution. However, if you already own a Kommo-o, they can only learn this move via an Elite Technical Machine (TM).

This table provides the maximum Combat Power (CP) that a Jangmo-o can have at every level. In natural environments, a Jangmo-o can evolve from Level 1 to Level 30. What is Kommo-o best Pokémon GO moveset?
On Community Day, Jangmo-o will acquire the attack “Clanging Scales,” which significantly boosts Kommo-o’s capabilities in the Ultra League competitive play. Nevertheless, in terms of Pokémon-versus-Environment (PvE), particularly Dragon-type Raid Battles, Kommo-o won’t be exceptionally powerful.

2. Fossil Excavation – Dig up a Fossil Pokémon like Tyranitar or Pupitar, who will hatch from the Fossil you find.
3. The Great Lake Awakens – Catch a water-type Pokémon that’s particularly active during this event, such as Lapras or Gyarados.
4. A Secret Resides Here – Discover a hidden Pokémon like Sneasel or Delibird, depending on the time of day you complete this task!
5. The Psychic-Type Specialist – Catch a powerful Psychic-type Pokémon like Mewtwo or Slowbro in this special event encounter.

Pawmi Community Day: Pokémon GO Tips and Tricks
As a devoted Pokémon GO enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming Pawmi Community Day! This event offers a fantastic opportunity for players like me who haven’t yet added a Shiny version of this new Pokémon to our collection. It’s moments like these that make catching ’em all even more rewarding!
During this event, it’s essential to maintain a singular concentration. Keep your eyes on the prize, as you can accumulate a significant amount of experience points over these next three hours. Your chances of racking up XP increase significantly if you manage to execute Excellent Throws consistently.
Remember, be sure to gather enough Field Research for opportunities to encounter the rare Jangmo-o. This can happen by successfully completing a five-star Raid or trading one of your Pokémon with another trainer.
For this specific occasion, there’s no Stardust reward, but you can still earn double the experience points (XP). On the other hand, the current event features a 2x Stardust bonus that applies across all events.
Additionally, it’s beneficial to utilize any Dragon-type Pokemon at Mega Evolution Level 3. Doing so will increase the amount of candy and experience points earned when capturing Jangmo-o.
