Janette Manrara’s Heartache: Leaving Daughter for Dream Role in Chicago!

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but echo Janette Manrara’s apprehensions about leaving my little one behind as I advance in my professional journey. The thought of being apart from her during this new chapter is truly daunting.

Host of “It Takes Two,” aged 41, has a 19-year-old daughter named Lyra-Rose with Strictly Come Dancing celebrity spouse Aljaz Skorjanec, who is also 35 years old.

After wrapping up the most recent Strictly tour, Janette will embark on another journey across the country as she launches a nationwide tour that covers all of Chicago.

The U.S. dancer is about to take her first step onto the musical stage, portraying Roxie Heart in the tour of Chicago, which will be staged at 20 theaters throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Although she’s thrilled about her upcoming career change, Janette confessed that being separated from her daughter for such a prolonged period fills her with fear.

On The One Show on Thursday, Janette openly shared her emotions when host Roman Kemp asked if Aljaz, having just completed the Strictly tour with her, might visit with his daughter Lyra.

Janette responded with: “What you’re saying doesn’t just concern me, it scares me a tad because the contract is quite lengthy and being away from her. Aljaz will make an effort to visit as many venues and cities as he can, Blackpool being one of them.

I’m planning to revisit Blackpool, a place I’ve only been to for ‘Strictly’. It’ll be exciting to explore it again, this time accompanied by ‘Chicago’. As much as feasible, they will join me on this trip.

‘And I’m flying home on days off just to cuddle her as much as I can.’

In a friendly exchange, Alex Jones observed, “It’s all about finding the right balance,” to which Janette concurred with a simple, “Yep.

On the latest Strictly tour, Janette shared that it requires a whole community effort since she involved several of her relatives to take care of Lyra, allowing her and Aljaz to focus on their work.

Besides her mother, Aljaz’s sister, brother-in-law, and his parents all pitched in to assist.

In a recent social media post, Janette expressed: ‘Traveling with @strictlycomedancinglive is incredible, yet, as I’ve previously stated, ensuring that Lyra remains content and secure involves the efforts of many.’

Last week, Lara Jubic and her husband Nejc Jubic, along with their cousins, took care of her. It’s clear that she had an absolutely fantastic time! A big thank you goes out to my wonderful sister-in-law and her spouse for their incredible kindness. We adore you and I’m confident we’ll be seeing you again shortly!

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: During the last week of the #StrictlyLiveTour, it was a delight to have @aljazskorjanec’s parents step in and take care of sweet Lyra during the shows. They truly enjoyed every moment, and I was constantly flooded with photos showing Lyra’s endless smiles. What a heartwarming experience it was for all!

I want to express my gratitude to @natasaskorjanec and Srečko for being exceptional grandparents and creating delightful moments with Lyra when mom and dad were busy. As I’ve said before, it truly takes a village, and knowing that Lyra is surrounded by so much love – even from afar – brings a warm smile to my heart.

After Janette found herself amidst a recent scandal involving Wynne Evans, who was removed from the Strictly Come Dancing live tour due to an offensive comment he made about her.

In the past month, the 53-year-old opera singer resigned from the tour following The Mail On Sunday’s exposure of an offensive comment he made regarding Janette during a photo session for the tour, which was aimed at her in a ‘spit roast’ context.

In a video for Mail On Sunday, Wynne is spotted among a group of 20 celebrities and performers. As the day turns, host Janette, known for her work on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, is called over to this gathering.

As she approaches, Wynne warns her with a grin: ‘Not too close to Jamie [Borthwick]!’

Subsequently, he gives a subtle, flirtatious expression towards the actor, while Janette is passing by unaware, and it is precisely there where Wynne delivers his inappropriate jest about her.

Moments after, Aljaz, her dancing spouse, inquires from close by, “Sweetheart, are you alright?” To which she responds tersely, “Yes.

Wynne has decided, following an agreement with the BBC, to withdraw from the tour and all other job-related responsibilities in order to take a break, as it seems that an improper remark could potentially end his entire professional journey.
