Jamie Laing recently revealed an unexpected detail about household regulations set by his wife, Sophie Habboo, as they ready themselves for the arrival of their first child.
The Made In Chelsea star, 36, and his wife Sophie, 31, revealed they are expecting back in June.
Since then, the couple have been open about their journey to becoming parents for the first time.
Currently, Jamie is disclosing a single stringent regulation that Sophie has imposed while preparing their fresh abode ahead of their upcoming baby’s arrival.
During his BBC Radio 1 broadcast on Wednesday, he mentioned an unusual situation: Having recently moved into a new home (which is really thrilling), his expectant wife has introduced a novel household rule.
‘I tell you what, I will vent on the radio. I hate it. She is not going to be listening.

‘I really don’t like it and I pretend at home that I like it but I don’t.’
Jamie explained that he had a distinction between his outside clothing and his inside clothing.
As a devoted homebody, I can’t help but maintain a strict wardrobe division! Stepping foot outside means swapping my cozy indoor attire for my tough outdoor garb to keep things clean and pristine at home.
‘One time she caught me like a rat running upstairs in my outside clothes.’
Katie Thistleton, his radio partner, asked him about the practicalities, as he mentioned: “I arrive and disrobe.
Katie tried to reason with Jamie, as she quipped: ‘Let’s blame the hormones.’
Yet, Jamie acknowledged a sense of unease, fearing he may have overstepped a boundary with his revelation, and was concerned that Sophie might discover the truth.
He humorously expressed his concern as, ‘I worry she might be hearing. I’d like it clear that I truly enjoy dressing casually indoors.’

On their new podcast NearlyParents, Sophie had earlier shared that she encountered certain challenges during her pregnancy.
During the second trimester, she admitted to feeling as if she was struggling profoundly, even close to death, due to the excessive hormonal changes, which frequently left her in an irritable state.
‘This girl has gone from a bit of a b***h to don’t come near me,’ she quipped.
Until the eighth week, everything was going smoothly for me. I hadn’t encountered any unpleasant side effects or illnesses, and I had an abundance of energy. It seemed as though everyone else was overstating things, it was simply incredible.
By week eight, people are becoming a little wearing on my nerves. It’s as if the man seated next to me on the airplane, who seems to have an excessively loud breath, is testing my patience. Under different circumstances, one might wonder if it’s acceptable to express my discomfort with a gentle tap instead of a punch in the face.
