Jamie Foxx’s Stunning Comeback: A Night Out with Daughter After Health Scare!
On Thursday night, I had an extraordinary experience attending a glamorous event in London alongside my precious daughter, Anelise. As I took this opportunity to showcase my latest project, it was truly a memorable evening filled with A-list celebrities.
57-year-old actor made a comeback to the silver screen, sharing the limelight with co-star Cameron Diaz in the Netflix film “Back In Action,” premiering this past Friday.
Jamie donned a roomy grey Gucci sweater paired with track pants of the same hue. He accessorized the ensemble with white sneakers boasting a vibrant green sole and a striking silver necklace as a final touch.
Hey there! Let me tell you about my latest obsession – it’s all about Anelise, 16. She was rocking this brown Hellstar graffiti hoodie with matching tracksuit bottoms that just radiated style. To top it off, she had an instant camera hanging from her hoodie like a badge of honor! And oh, she didn’t forget the accessories – a pair of headphones were nestled comfortably in her hands. Truly, she was the epitome of coolness!
They were spotted coming back to Chiltern Firehouse, possibly where they’re residing, in the company of Louise Redknapp. She donned a beige coat over an entire black ensemble, while her TV writer partner Drew Michael opted for a dark grey waxed jacket paired with a black shirt.
In addition to the comedy stage, comedian Jimmy Carr could be spotted in a smart navy three-piece suit, paired with a red tie and a light blue dress shirt. As he left the venue, he carried a tote bag under his arm.
Following the Ray actor’s disclosure, he admitted that he initially found it hard to believe when doctors informed him he had spent 20 days unconscious due to a stroke-induced brain hemorrhage, thinking it was a joke instead.
On this week’s episode of Graham Norton’s show, airing on Friday, the prominent figure will openly discuss his harrowing health ordeal that occurred after undergoing surgery in April 2023, leaving him in a coma.
Jamie stated that he had no recollection of anything that happened during the period between when he was taken to the Emergency Room and when he regained consciousness 20 days later.
Oh boy, I’ve been down for the count, really struggling, but here I am, bouncing back with renewed vigor! It hits home just how crucial it is to have folks who genuinely care and shower you with love when life throws a curveball.
20 days ago, I couldn’t recall any events transpiring, so when I woke up today, it felt like an elaborate joke. The whole situation was utterly bizarre.
He was shooting for the movie “Back In Action” when he suddenly developed a severe headache in Atlanta. At first, they administered a cortisone injection to him, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, intuited that something wasn’t right.
Deidra drove him to Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital, where he underwent a life-saving procedure.
At first, they chose to maintain confidentiality about his health struggles, disclosing the truth about the situation just recently (last month) when Jamie shared the details.
Previously, he shared that he distinctly recalled awakening from a coma on May 4th, and found himself incapable of walking at the time.
He recalled: ‘When I woke up, I found myself in a wheelchair. I couldn’t walk.’
As much as I resisted, I found myself unwilling to accept that I might have suffered a stroke. In our therapy sessions, my counselor emphasized that for me to flourish, I needed to let go of the old version of myself: ‘You must bid farewell to the old Jamie in order for the new, improved Jamie to prosper.’
He too contemplated: ‘God bestowed wealth and popularity upon me, but once I strayed from God, He granted me a stroke.’
Speaking with Graham about his comeback, Jamie said, “I felt compelled to re-emerge and figured humor was the key. I told so many jokes they thought I’d lost my mind, and then I would pretend to be someone else – for three straight days, I became Denzel Washington.
In his latest Netflix special, the actor who plays Spider-Man drew attention when he playfully stated that he is finished with dating women of Caucasian descent in one of the songs.
He sang he’s been ‘cured’ and is ‘back on the black side of town’.
Sitting down at a piano, the Hollywood star sang: ‘Sisters, I’m here to tell you, I’ve been cured.
I’m completely healed now and have moved on from romantic interests in white women. I assure you, it’s over for good – there will be no more relationships with white women.
With the crowd clapping and rising from their seats, Jamie exclaimed, “I’ve returned to the Black part of the city!
1. Let’s avoid repeating the same thing: “We won’t be seeing any more blonde women. No more potato salad or raisins. That’s it for spray tans, no large breasts or curvaceous figures, also no more blonde women.”
2. “There won’t be any more fair-haired ladies around here. Nor will there be potato salad and raisins. No more spray tans, no big boobs or round butts, and definitely no more fair-haired ladies.”
3. And one more for variety: “We’re done with Caucasian females. Potato salad and raisins are off the menu too. No more fake tans, no ample breasts or derrieres, no more Caucasian females.”
Jamie has had several high-profile relationships over the years with both black and white women.
He enjoyed a six-year romance with Katie Holmes from 2013 to 2019.
Although Jamie’s confession left many viewers laughing uproariously, it also sparked doubts about the truthfulness of his statement.
Taking to X, one wrote: ‘Interesting. It took a stroke???’
Another said: ‘Jamie funny as s**t because he lying like hell LMFAOOOOO.’
A third added: ‘I don’t believe him. But I’m going to mind my business.’
Cameron, 52, is making her return to film after a decade-long hiatus.
In the comedic spy thriller Jamie and Cameron star as ex-CIA agents who are now married with kids.
Despite returning to the world of espionage, complications arise as their kids remain unaware of their profession.
She expressed: “I’m back now, thanks entirely to Jamie. For a decade, I neglected everything; rejected every opportunity. But then I found this script and thought perhaps it was time. If I were to be away from my family for 10 hours daily, I wanted it to be with the most gifted individual in the entertainment industry.
“Making films is an honor, and it’s fortunate that we get to engage in this work. The fact that I had the opportunity to continue doing so after ten years is simply astounding.
For the past ten years, those times were special to me and my family, but a part of me pondered, ‘Should I let it slip away, choose not to re-engage, and abandon the opportunity without trying? If so, would I be acting foolishly?’
‘It might be the beginning of something, but its here now and I am grateful for it.’
On this coming Friday, the 17th of January, you can catch “The Graham Norton Show” on BBC One starting from 10:40 PM. You’ll also find it on BBC iPlayer if you prefer to watch at a later time.
