Jamie Foxx fuels Diddy ‘poisoning rumors’ as he swerves questions about wild theory
As a seasoned observer of public figures, I find myself both saddened and bewildered by the recent turn of events involving two individuals whose careers have been marked by significant achievements – Jamie Foxx and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In simpler terms, Jamie Foxx skillfully avoided answering a query concerning whether Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was related to his unexpected hospitalization in 2023 – a speculation that has gained momentum online and supposedly emerged during the production of his latest Netflix stand-up comedy show.
As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but catch sight of the Oscar-winning actor, who just turned 56, refueling his stylish baby-blue Mercedes G-Wagon in Los Angeles this very morning. The grapevine is buzzing with whispers that he might have fallen victim to some underhand tactics by the incarcerated hip-hop magnate, fueling my curiosity and concern for his wellbeing.
In response to the question about the speculation, Foxx politely dodged the subject by saying “God bless you,” while giving a friendly smile.
On his recovery, he reassured fans, saying, ‘I’m feeling good, I’m feeling better.’
Regarding the allegations about ‘poisoning’ made by Big Homie, the celebrity bodyguard, Jamie opted for a lighter approach and sang instead of delving deeper into the discussion.
On Thursday, I was one among the thrilled spectators at the taping of Jamie Foxx’s upcoming Netflix extravaganza, and let me tell you, a juicy tidbit slipped out! According to three reliable sources, during the event, our beloved Jamie opened up about certain allegations pointing towards Diddy, age 54, potentially being the culprit behind his recent health scare.
However, the audience members had varying accounts of the comedian’s words.
Two individuals assert that Foxx stated Diddy played a role in the incident, and he allegedly tipped off the FBI about him (Diddy), who is now incarcerated while awaiting his trial on charges of sex trafficking.
According to a reliable source, it’s been clarified to DailyMail.com that the rumor about Sean Combs (Diddy) causing Jamie Foxx to be hospitalized is not accurate.
It’s not clear whether the remarks were meant to be humorous or how they were understood by the rest of the crowd.
Last week, in an interview with Cam Capone News, the well-known celebrity bodyguard, Big Homie .CC, asserted that Foxx had been allegedly poisoned by Diddy.
According to his statement, he believes that Combs poisoned Jamie Foxx, which led Jamie Foxx to report this man to the FBI. In simpler terms, he said that Jamie Foxx reported Combs to the FBI due to him allegedly poisoning Jamie Foxx.
Big Homie .CC shared with Page Six that his statements stem from overhearing Jamie Foxx narrate a particular tale during two of his stand-up performances, which he allegedly attended alongside a client, as mentioned by the security guard.
At a recent interview, Videographer “Choke No Joke” shared that he attended not one, but two of Jamie Foxx’s performances in Atlanta during the first week of October. These shows were held at the Alliance Theatre on the 4th, 5th, and 6th of the month.
In an interview with Comedy Hype, Jamie mentioned that he was part of a unique event on Netflix titled “What Had Happened Was.” I attended the recording of this series, and it spanned over three days. On the first day, and also the last day, I was there.
During the filming, Foxx stated that it was Diddy who was accountable for the incident, and he (Foxx) was the one who contacted the FBI about Combs.
It’s not clear if the alleged comments will be included in the final cut of the special.
When asked if the comments were made as a ‘joke,’ Choke said, ‘I don’t think he was joking.’
You’ll be able to decide if it was a joke or not once you watch the show because, as a novice comedian myself, I can recognize when someone is preparing for a punchline versus being serious.
After Foxx claimed, “Diddy took action against me,” he further explained, “I was the one who reported him to the authorities,” and hinted at a possible reason for this action: Foxx may have felt threatened or scared.
It’s been said that he vanished, correct? He reappeared as soon as Puff was incarcerated, right? We saw him at a game with Jerry Jones from the Dallas Cowboys, correct?… However, we haven’t seen him since then. As soon as Puff went to jail, [Foxx] was spotted at a Dallas football game, correct? And now it seems he has released a new project, and this project is heavily centered around Diddy, according to his further statements.
It seemed like Foxx and Diddy were more like brothers (friends very close to each other) until some event reportedly led to a falling out between them.
According to what Choke shared with Page Six, he was surprised by Foxx’s public statements about the allegations since there were whispers about them among industry peers like himself in private conversations earlier.
Though phones were confiscated ahead of the shows, Choke took a selfie with Foxx afterwards.
Nevertheless, Dennis L.A. White, who was one of the attendees, shared with Page Six that he attended not just one but two and three tapings of the program. His memories of the events differed somewhat from what has been reported.
White relayed that Foxx stated something similar to, ‘Everyone’s questioning whether it was Diddy who was at fault. It wasn’t him. If it were, I wouldn’t be alive today.’
As a devoted admirer, I too recall that during our interactions on set, Foxx didn’t seem to mention anything about the FBI or law enforcement. However, he did frequently discuss Combs and even shared some humorous anecdotes involving ‘baby oil’.
After completing his performances, Foxx posted two pictures from the stage on Instagram, one of which showed him wiping away tears, along with an emotional caption.
‘God is great… Sharing these photos, I can’t help but feel overflowing happiness… On October 3rd and 4th, I got a chance to share my perspective, and there couldn’t have been a better location than Atlanta, Georgia.’
I can’t express enough gratitude, Atlanta. You not only appeared but also excelled, just as expected. It’s been 18 years since I last stood on a stage, yet the longing for it, and more importantly, the craving for an audience filled with nothing but pure affection – that’s exactly what you provided.
When someone queries if it’s a stand-up comedy show, I reply that it isn’t; instead, it’s an artistic depiction of something that didn’t go as planned. However, thanks to the wonderful folks in Atlanta, particularly Piedmont Hospital, I have the opportunity to be on stage again and engage in my favorite pastime… Every day is a good day, as my friend James would say; this is just my second chance. #nobaddays #secondchance
Born as Eric Marlon Bishop, Foxx has been progressively resuming his professional engagements following the health predicament he encountered in April 2023, which led to a 20-day unconscious state.
In that moment, Corinne, his oldest child, used social media platforms to notify followers that the previous day her father had encountered a health issue, which they called a “medical complication.” However, she expressed optimism, stating that thanks to prompt intervention and excellent care, he was already showing signs of improvement towards recovery.
Moving on to April 2024, Foxx disclosed to a gathering in downtown Phoenix that he had been admitted to the hospital due to a severe headache, asking his assistant for some Advil.
‘I was gone for 20 days,’ he revealed, adding that he doesn’t ‘remember anything’ from that time.
In December of 2023, Foxx shared that he had glimpsed a tunnel but not the light when speaking publicly for the first time since his health emergency, which occurred during the Critics Choice Association’s event. He was referring to his near-death experience at that time.
Foxx confessed that he was unable to walk six months ago, although he didn’t disclose much detail regarding the health issue that led him to be hospitalized.
In August he also posted a message on Instagram with the caption, ‘They killed this dude name[d] Jesus … What do you think they’ll do to you???! #fakefriends #fakelove.’
Initially, the content was considered offensive towards Jews, leading Jamie to remove it and offer an apology to the Jewish community.
Additionally, he clarified, ‘In other words, I was deceived by someone who claimed to be a friend, and when I refer to ‘them’, it is in that context only.’
At present, Diddy is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn without the option for bail.
Combs was arrested last month in Manhattan after a probe into alleged sex trafficking, and he is accused of drugging and raping victims as young as nine.
After being charged with crimes, more than 100 people have stated that they were victimized by the fallen rap magnate.
Sean Combs (also known as Diddy) denies the accusations that he forced and mistreated women over an extended period, with assistance from colleagues and staff members. He’s also been accused of intimidating victims through extortion and violence, which allegedly involved kidnapping, arson, and physical assault.
Federal agents seized approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ residences in Miami and Los Angeles during the execution of a search warrant connected to an ongoing investigation into his alleged involvement in a sex trafficking network.
Initially, the rapper known as The Closer to God displayed a defiant attitude, but this changed when CNN released a video from May showing him physically attacking his former girlfriend, Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Fine, at the InterContinental Century City in 2016.
