Jamie Durie’s Buff Biceps Steal the Show!

The sun may not have been out, but it was still a case of guns out for Jamie Durie this week.

The TV veteran, 54, was spotted enjoying an ocean dip with some pals in Sydney on Monday.

As my beloved Ameka Jane, our charming Beau, aged three, and adorable Nash, barely a year old, probably reveled in our brand-new Avalon Beach mega-mansion, I couldn’t wait to jump headfirst into the action myself!

Previously well-known for his role on Block, he presented a fit image as he ventured out wearing swimwear displaying a vibrant design of a tropical tableau.

Jamie didn’t shy away from displaying his tanned physique while getting ready to dive, boldly highlighting his toned arm muscles.

On this gloomy, cloudy morning, it seemed like Jamie was feeling the weather. As he got ready to jump, he quickly rubbed his hands together, giving off an energetic vibe.

He looked to be having a great time on his morning swim, beaming as he stepped into the water.

Besides appearing pleased, Jamie seemed delighted to be with his swimming companions, even laughing heartily while playfully floating in the sea, reminiscent of his time as a popular figure at Manpower Australia.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I chose not to don the vibrant skull caps favored by my underwater friends in favor of a practical pair of swimming goggles during my aquatic escapades.

In my adventures beneath the waves, I opted for some trusty swimming goggles instead of the colorful skull caps sported by my sea-dwelling pals.

After exiting the water, climbing up some sandy stairs, Jamie appeared content with his morning exercise routine.

During his swim session, Jamie wore a smile that didn’t fade even as he gracefully climbed the stairs afterwards.

Jamie’s smile from his swim remained on him as he skillfully ascended the steps later on.

For a seasoned TV veteran such as Jamie, the gaze of the paparazzi always looms large.

To Daily Mail Australia, Jamie openly admitted that sharing photos without shirts on was just a normal aspect of being a famous person.

‘Look you know it’s all par for the course,’ he said.

As someone openly visible on television and various media platforms, I understand that occasional scrutiny or headlines may surface from time to time in magazines.

Moving forward, Jamie expressed that he along with Ameka opt for simply relishing life with their two kids, Beau and Nash.

‘We don’t care. We just get on with our lives,’ he said.

In our opinion, spending time on the beach with our children is something Australians cherish. I have no intention of giving that up.

The horticulturist, along with his loved ones, have just settled down in their grand six-story mansion located at Avalon Beach.

The home took three years to build, which is chronicled on Jamie’s new show Growing Home.

This program, presented in a documentary style, meticulously reveals every intricate step involved in making Jamie’s eco-friendly vision a reality. It crafted a dwelling that embodied our desires optimally without any concessions, and it did so responsibly, minimizing its impact on the Earth.

He shared with Daily Mail Australia that his dream has long been to create a program centered around eco-friendly construction, extending beyond homes and into gardens as well.

If we’re creating a series on eco-friendly construction, it would be most authentic to demonstrate this value by featuring our own home as the first example.

‘So that’s what we did.’

However, the construction project, which Jamie refers to as the “Trojan horse of sustainability,” hasn’t been entirely smooth sailing for him; there have been some bumps in the road.

In April 2022, the local council of Northern Beaches gave a go-ahead to the landscaping expert regarding his proposal for the waterfront property, even though over fifty disgruntled neighbors had objected to it.

Initially, his idea to demolish a 1960s house and construct a large, six-story residence for his family encountered resistance from neighbors, as they disapproved of the proposed removal of 17 native trees.

Earlier, it was explained that 1518 indigenous and local plant species are planned for planting within and surrounding the property.

He stated during Today Extra in 2021 that the problem has been resolved, and he has written letters to both neighbors and the local council detailing the current situation in hopes that they will understand our updated plans.

The neighbors were concerned about how building on the property might affect the local microbat colony’s ecological balance.

Additionally, Jamie hinted to Daily Mail Australia in February that he might consider coming back to The Block once more.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I had the honor of kicking off the reign of a reality television powerhouse for an impressive two seasons back in 2004, before it temporarily bid adieu to our screens.

Nine eventually revived the series six years later, with current host Scott Cam at the helm.

Last year, there were whispers about his possible comeback to the show, but Jamie mentioned that although he’s content with Channel Seven now, he wouldn’t entirely rule out the possibility of rejoining The Block in the future.

He expressed, “As I mentioned earlier, one can never predict the future. I’m someone who maintains an incredibly open perspective on life, and I embarked on my journey with Channel Nine.

Currently, I’m quite content at Seven, yet I must admit, television has undergone significant transformations throughout the years, making it a rather fluid industry nowadays.
