Jamie Dornan, known for The Tourist, is joining the cast of a new British comedy with a dark edge. The film, called The Worst, has been praised as both funny and full of surprises. It will be the first feature film directed by Simon Woods, who is also a playwright and wrote the screenplay.
Jamie Dornan will appear with Keira Knightley, Alicia Vikander, and Erin Kellyman, who starred in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
According to Deadline, the movie follows Emily Fisher (Vikander), a socialite, and her husband Max as they host a group of their rich friends for a night at their new chateau in France.

The guest list includes Holly, a diversity consultant who often argues with people and suffers from migraines, and Danny, a talent agent who constantly brags about who he represents. They definitely don’t get along.
As night falls and hidden truths come to light, Niamh, a waitress played by Kellyman, is unexpectedly caught up in the resulting turmoil.

Before becoming a writer and director, Woods acted with Keira Knightley in the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice.
Woods recently told Variety that he hopes audiences will thoroughly enjoy his new project, The Worst. He wants viewers to be captivated by the film’s colorful and exaggerated characters, their complicated and awkward relationships, and the generally uncomfortable yet compelling nature of the story.
I aim to challenge the audience to connect with these characters, pushing them to the point where they almost sympathize with them. Through this, I hope to offer a humorous critique of our current society and the times we live in.
The director said they’re making a movie with lots of surprises, and this cast is perfect for bringing those unexpected moments to life.

Ever since Netflix announced a second season of Keira Knightley’s spy thriller, Black Doves, in 2024, fans have been anxiously waiting for its release.
Although we don’t have a premiere date yet for season two, fans will be pleased to hear that Sarah Lancashire is confirmed to return. Plus, Neve Campbell, known for her role in Scream, is joining the cast!
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant, full-color 100-page magazine celebrating Taylor Swift, is now available! You can purchase it at newsstands or online for only £8.99.
