Jamie Azzopardi Wows AFW: Two Dresses, Four Assistants, and Maximalist Chic
Jamie Azzopardi never misses the opportunity to stand out at Australian Fashion Week.
At the second day of the high-profile gathering, the contentious social media personality, aged 27, donned not just a single gown, but rather two distinctive dresses, stacked one upon the other.
Azzopardi, who identifies as non-binary and prefers to be referred to using they/them pronouns, donned a golden satin dress layered over a long-sleeved white shirt, opting for an unconventional ensemble.
Additionally, Jamie included another satin dress, specifically in pearl white and featuring a feathered torso.
Without holding back on stylish add-ons, Jamie adorned a shirt featuring pearls at the cuff and neckline, paired with white heels, sunglasses, and carried a feathery handbag.
Later in the evening, Jamie returned for additional performances, sporting a fresh, stylish appearance – a 1920s-inspired tasseled dress in a sophisticated dark brown, accompanied by coordinating high heels.

The web celebrity’s style embodies the ‘maximalist’ fashion trend, widely favored by Gen Z style enthusiasts, notably on TikTok. This style is characterized by piling up numerous mismatched pieces and accessories simultaneously to achieve a purposeful ‘got-dressed-in-the-dark’ aesthetic.
Jamie made a much anticipated return to Australian Fashion week on Monday.
At the 2025 event in Sydney on Monday, the star made yet another spectacular arrival, causing quite a buzz around town once more.
The internet star donned a striking, bridal-like white gown accompanied by four helpers at her side.
The women held up Azzopardi’s voluminous frock which featured a long, flowing train.
Azzopardi enlisted four assistants to support an ornate dress, characterized by a frilled collar and see-through sections adorned with pearls.
The dress was belted at the waist and also featured layers of tulle around a beaded bodice.
Jamie wore a pair of sunglasses which had matching pearls and included a long pair of black boots.
After arriving at Australian Fashion Week last year wearing a grand Edwardian ensemble, they responded to their critics.

Azzopardi dramatically appeared at Carriageworks in Sydney, accompanied by a group of attendants, drawing the attention of Carolina Santos from Married At First Sight who commented about it on her social media platforms.
she expressed, “What on earth is this place? I can’t help but wonder if Jamie believes we’re attending the Met Gala or some similar event. It seems strange to me that people are holding their garments.” This was her statement at the moment in question.
Last year, during the event, Jamie responded directly to Carolina’s remark, countering it specifically for Daily Mail Australia.
Carolina, I was wondering if you could share some insights since you seem well-informed: Could you tell me, what is it that you know about the Met Gala?
Jamie drew many admiring glances with their unique attire; it featured a vibrant baby-blue frilled jacket boasting a deep, revealing v-neck.
The stylist paired the statement garment with a long black skirt and towering high heels.
Eyewitnesses described Azzopardi’s arrival at Fashion Week 2024 as nothing short of a performance.
Clad in an elaborate dress boasting multiple layers of delicate material and elaborate adornments, the stylist ensured they captured everyone’s attention.

Azzopardi’s ‘minders’ were seen constantly adjusting every detail of their attire.
They took great care to make sure every crease was perfectly aligned, as the cameras clicked nonstop with Jamie striking various poses.
Over time, Australian Fashion Week has evolved from a high-profile national event to an occasion frequented by reality TV personalities, aspiring fashion enthusiasts, and social media influencers with smaller followings.
According to sources within the industry, designers have expressed reluctance to associate with “reality TV celebrities from Married at First Sight,” who seem eager to attend fashion weeks.
