As a dedicated follower of the arts, particularly British television and cinema, I am genuinely excited about the upcoming Netflix series, “The House of Guinness.” The star-studded cast, led by James Norton, is simply outstanding, and I can’t help but feel that this production will be a masterpiece.
James Norton looked stylish as he headed out to grab a take-a-way lunch in London on Tuesday.
39-year-old celebrity from Happy Valley, known for The House of Guinness series, sported a casual look while strolling towards the store.
He layered an oversized brown knitted jumper over the top of a grey T-shirt and teamed it with a pair of cargo trousers.
James completed his off-duty look with white trainers and accessorised with a silver necklace.
Filming for Steven Knight’s new project started a month ago, as the actor was spotted on location in Liverpool during the shooting of fight sequences.
Netflix recently unveiled the additional actors set to star alongside James in the highly anticipated series, titled The Guinness House.
In this production, the performer from Happy Valley will be accompanied by well-known figures such as Jack Gleeson, best recognized for his role as the malevolent character Joffrey Baratheon on Game of Thrones, and Fionn O’Shea, who played Jamie, the romantic interest of Daisy Edgar Jones in Normal People.
In addition to those previously confirmed for the upcoming series penned by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, we also have Olivia Rodrigo’s partner, Louis Partridge, as part of the cast.
The star-studded cast also contains Masters of the Air star Anthony Boyle, Emily Fairn who recently starred opposite Martin Freeman in The Responder, Niamh McCormack, Seamus O’Hara and Irish actress Dervla Kirwan.
Additionally, Michael McElhatton, Danielle Galligan, David Wilmot (who previously worked with Florence Pugh in “The Wonder”), and Hilda Fay have joined the cast, rounding out the ensemble for the production.
The show’s creator said he was delighted with the star-studded cast.

House Of Guinness was written by Steven Knight, who is currently also working on the Peaky Blinders film.
Netflix unveiled a new series in March, delving into the historical background of the renowned brewing dynasty.
The show will tell the tale of the remarkable rise to fame of the family owning the well-known Irish brewery, a business established as far back as 1759 by Arthur Guinness.
However, beyond the narrative of affluence and success, there hides a heartbreaking chronicle of perpetual hardship that affected the family deeply.
Over time, Tara Browne, who met an untimely end in a car accident in South Kensington, the family’s scandalous relationships and divorces, and the tragic drowning of Honor Uloth at 19 in 2020, have left the family reeling from one misfortune after another.
Despite boasting a staggering fortune exceeding £900 million today, the misfortunes experienced by the Guinness family have gained such notoriety that many people perceive the company as being under some sort of ‘unfavorable spell’.
Walther Edward Guinness, popularly known as Lord Moyne, was a British politician and entrepreneur. To numerous people, he is seen as the initiator of the infamous “Guinness family curse.”
A relative of the Guinness family was an intimate friend who developed a strong political partnership with Winston Churchill.
From November 1944 onwards, he held the position of British Minister of State in the Middle East. However, his tenure ended tragically when he was murdered by the extremist organization, the Stern Gang, in Cairo.
Lady Henrietta Guinness jumped off a bridge in Umbria, Italy, in 1978 after never recovering from an Aston Martin car crash in the French Riviera.
In simpler terms, it appears she expressed a thought that if she were not wealthy, she would have been content, hinting at the hardships and unfortunate events that have tarnished the lives of the Guinness family.
That very same year, the tragic fate that had befallen Henrietta was mirrored again when little four-year-old Peter Guinness lost his life in a car accident.
Creator Steven noted: ‘The Guinness family is globally renowned – they have experienced wealth, poverty, power, impact, and heart-wrenching tragedies that provide a vibrant canvas for exploration.’
