James Norton and Co-Stars Bring ABBA Vibes to Life After ‘Playing Nice’ Success!
As a devoted cast member of Playing Nice, I mingled and had a jolly good time alongside my fellow actors James McArdle, Niamh Algar, and Jessica Brown Findlay at an exhilarating ABBA bash.
On a lively Instagram post made on Tuesday, they were seen relaxing together after the triumph of their ITV series, enjoying some leisure time as a group.
In a heartrending turn of events, Playing Nice narrates the tale of two sets of parents discovering that their kids had been unknowingly exchanged at birth.
In “Happy Valley,” actor James (age 30) portrays character Pete Riley, and Niamh Algar (age 32) takes on the role of his partner Maddie Wilson.
Meanwhile McArdle, 35, stars as Miles Lambert and Jessica Brown Findlay, 35, plays Lucy Lambert.
The team donned 1970s-style ABBA outfits, mirroring the iconic image of the band.

Playing Nice hit our screens earlier this month but most viewers binged the whole series on ITVX.
I must confess, I’ve been utterly captivated by this series, but some people have not held back when expressing their views online – firing off harsh criticisms left and right.
Some spectators criticized the show as having an implausible storyline, pointing out a significant inconsistency in the contrived narrative.
Throughout the course of the series, they successfully arranged meetings by locating each other’s contact information on their own, without needing assistance from child welfare agencies.
Many pointed out that this wouldn’t happen in real life.
Following the second episode on Monday evening, many viewers expressed their frustration about how the series could possibly extend any longer, since they had lost enthusiasm and switched off their televisions after what they considered a ‘disappointing’ episode.
Despite that, others have shared how much they loved binging the drama.
One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: ‘#playingnice wow. Great series @ITV.’
A different individual expressed: ‘This year, if you’re going to watch anything, binge-watch #PlayingNice on @ITVX. I can honestly say I’ve never disliked a character so intensely in my life, yet the series was still incredibly good! It’s intense… and the child actor is simply remarkable for his age – possibly the best I’ve ever seen!’
A third added: ‘UK people if you haven’t already you need to watch #PlayingNice such an epic show.’
While a fourth chimed in: ‘Finished #PlayingNice.. great ending, and great season.’
Watch Playing Nice on ITV1 and ITVX.
