It’s speculated that a DC Studios series on HBO Max, overseen by James Gunn, could potentially introduce the notorious supervillain Gorilla Grodd into the DC Universe.
As per industry insider Jeff Sneider’s reports, James Gunn’s upcoming Jimmy Olsen series on HBO Max is set to introduce the character of Gorilla Grodd into the DC Universe. After the debut of Superman, it appears that Gunn is planning a spin-off focusing on Skyler Gisondo’s portrayal of Jimmy Olsen.
In the comic book issue #106 of The Flash, published in 1959, we were introduced to Gorilla Grodd. This cunning villain acquired his mental abilities following contact with a meteorite’s radiation. Primarily known for causing trouble for the Flash, he has also encountered Batman and Superman on multiple occasions.
