Even though James Gunn’s revamped DC Universe only began with the release of *Creature Commandos* on HBO Max late last year, it’s already given fans several post-credit scenes. While Gunn has stated the DCU will handle these scenes differently than Marvel, he’s still included them in every project released so far.
The film includes seven scenes after the credits, each adding a unique touch to the series. These range from a strangely altered version of Superman’s city, a funny reference to a past DC star, and a surprisingly memorable bowl of soup.

Superman Mid-Credits Scene

Okay, so the new *Superman* movie had a really cool little scene after the credits rolled. We got to see David Corenswet back as Superman after he took care of Lex Luthor – Nicholas Hoult played him, and he was great! It was a quick moment, but it definitely left me wanting more.
The movie ended with a shot of Superman, played by David Corenswet, sitting on the moon and cradling his dog, Krypto, while looking at Earth.
Viewers had previously seen a comparable scene when James Gunn first revealed his vision for *Superman*. However, this new glimpse showed the characters in action, with Superman and Krypto sharing a hug instead of simply sitting side-by-side.
Superman Post-Credits Scene

James Gunn’s *Superman* movie didn’t just have the Superman/Krypto scene after the credits. There was actually another surprise scene hidden after *all* the credits finished rolling.
A brief, lighter moment occurred after Superman and Mister Terrific looked at the widespread destruction caused by Luthor’s actions, which had split Metropolis in two.
While admiring a recently fixed building in the city, Corenswet, playing the superhero, realized something wasn’t quite right. This frustrated Mister Terrific, who angrily walked away, leaving his teammate standing alone.
Creature Commandos Episode 7

The final scene of Creature Commandos’ seventh episode was a first for the DCU, debuting as a post-credits clip in December 2024. It was the only moment of its kind in the series, which is rated R.
This scene takes place after the dramatic end of *Creature Commandos’* first season, and shows Eric Frankenstein recovering from the tough fight at Poko Castle.
The crowd watched as the large, conflicted hero sat with an elderly woman, enjoying a bowl of soup. After he finished telling the story of how the Bride reacted excessively and surprised him, they realized the soup wasn’t soup at all – it was entirely made of sparrow droppings.
Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 1

Season 2 of *Peacemaker* is changing things up for DC Universe TV shows. Unlike most series that only have a quick scene after the final episode, *Peacemaker* has been adding these extra moments after *every* episode. It’s a funny addition to the show starring John Cena.
In the first episode of Season 2, Christopher Smith (played by John Cena) and Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) are shown driving, and Harcourt playfully criticizes Smith’s eclectic taste in music. She jokingly complains, “You can’t just mix Spin Doctors into Thirty Seconds to Mars!”
Before the jokes about Peacemaker really took off, someone quipped, “Anyone would be a better Joker than Jared Leto,” referencing Leto’s role as the Joker and his simultaneous career as the singer for the popular 2000s band, 30 Seconds to Mars.
Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 2

The second episode of *Peacemaker* Season 2, like previous episodes, included a playful scene after the credits. This one centered around the characters Langston Fleury, played by Tim Meadows, and Steve Agee’s character.
The scene takes place inside an ARGUS surveillance van, where the characters are bickering about how to say ‘Pokémon’ and discussing Fleury’s personal life.
This scene doesn’t directly move the main DCU storyline forward, but it establishes the tense and often confrontational dynamic between Economos and Fleury, which becomes a recurring theme throughout the season.
Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 3

The post-credit scene in *Peacemaker* Season 2, Episode 3 was both heartwarming and funny, just like the show itself.
Following a party celebrating John Economos’s return, this scene unfolds shortly after the event. After drinking quite a bit, Adrian Chase, also known as Vigilante (played by Freddie Stroma), enters Emilia Harcourt’s bathroom and discovers Economos asleep in the bathtub.
Okay, so this guy just completely loses it. He pulls down Economos’ pants, gives him a quick kiss on the forehead – super weird, right? – and then starts washing the pants in the sink. It’s a really bizarre, unsettling moment, and honestly, as a movie fan, I was just floored by the audacity of it all.
Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 4

The latest DC Universe post-credit scene appeared at the end of episode 4 of *Peacemaker* Season 2.
This scene reminded viewers of an earlier moment in the episode where John Economos, played by Steve Agee, and Michael Rooker’s Red St. Wild followed Peacemaker’s pet eagle, Eagly.
During the episode, Red unexpectedly finds some of Eagly’s droppings, tastes them, and surprisingly detects flavors resembling sandwich meat and potato chips. The scene continues after the credits with Red listing even more strange foods he can taste in the droppings, like peppermint, SPAM, Twizzlers, and beluga caviar.
