Vic Sage begins as a TV reporter who uncovers a dangerous medical plot in his city, Hub City. Driven to action, he decides to investigate and expose the conspiracy, which threatens to harm millions.
In DC’s New 52 comics, the character was updated with a new power: the ability to teleport.
Nightshade
Nightshade originally appeared as the sidekick to Captain Atom in Charlton Comics. Later, she evolved into a hero with her own adventures.
Eve Eden is a highly skilled martial artist with a unique ability: she can teleport herself and others to the Land of the Nightshades, a dangerous realm where people face their deepest fears.
This character has appeared alongside heroes like those in the Suicide Squad. If James Gunn ever decides to revive the Suicide Squad for a new story, there’s a possibility this character could make an appearance.
Thunderbolt
Although not specifically named in the recent discussion about old Charlton characters, Thunderbolt is still a fan favorite and a strong possibility for appearing in the new DC Universe.
Thunderbolt is a magical being powered by electricity who chooses Johnny Thunder as his partner on Johnny’s seventh birthday.
This otherworldly creature can travel at the speed of light and casts spells that appear as massive, pink lightning strikes.
