He mentioned that he aimed to combine aspects like giant monsters, robots, flying dogs, other superheroes… In addition, Gunn shared how the Ultraman films significantly shaped his career, influencing not only Superman, but also his overall work.

Subsequently, the director shifted his focus towards “Godzilla Minus One”, a movie that premiered in 2023.
