James Gunn recently explained why it’s taking so long to introduce Batman in the new DC Universe. With the DCU’s first phase, including the animated series Creature Commandos and David Corenswet’s debut as Superman, already underway, fans are anxious to see the new Batman. However, Gunn confirmed the script for Batman: The Brave and the Bold isn’t complete yet, meaning the film won’t be released until 2028 at the earliest.
