James Cook Engaged to New Love After Split from Poppy Delevingne!

Three years following the end of his marriage with actress and model Poppy Delevingne, James Cook is now engaged to his partner, Lauren Brown.

The businessman proposed to Lauren, a photographer’s agent, while on holiday in Bhutan. 

Indeed, it’s delightful news! You know Lauren, the young lady who bears a striking resemblance to Poppy with her slender physique, defined cheekbones, and sun-kissed blonde tresses, right? Well, she recently posted an Instagram picture showing her and James enjoying themselves while strolling in Bhutan.

Lauren’s caption on the post said, ‘YES! You’re living a real-life fairy tale, @cook_james ❤️ Bhutan.’ This statement is a nod to her Adidas tracksuit.

It seems that James’s engagement post received a like from Cara Delevingne, Poppy’s younger sibling and a well-known fashion model from the Delevingne family.

Congratulatory messages poured in, including from some of James’s famous pals.

Jodie Kidd, the model, expressed her congratulations to Hugh, saying “Congratulations to you both.” Meanwhile, Savannah Miller, Sienna Miller’s sister and a wedding dress designer, replied with multiple stars and love hearts.

In the year 2014, James and Poppy, both aged 38, exchanged vows at St Paul’s Church in Kensington, London. Their wedding was a glamorous affair, boasting an illustrious guest list that included Alexa Chung, Georgia May Jagger, Princess Beatrice, Sienna Miller, and Suki Waterhouse.

In time, they drifted away from each other, although they never made an official statement about it. However, by 2023, Poppy was seen dating Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark, which fueled rumors that her relationship with James might have ended for good.

Last September, Poppy finally spoke up about the divorce, expressing that she will maintain a positive connection with James moving forward.

She mentioned: ‘A great deal of affection and regard exists between us. However, it stopped functioning effectively for us. I first encountered him when I was twenty, and fifteen years is quite a span…’

I consider fifteen years spent with someone as a significant achievement, and at times, such relationships naturally reach their conclusion. When it happened to me, the sensation was akin to a surge of liberation. It felt like I was twenty years old once more.

It likely would’ve concluded sooner, but I believe one factor preventing this was a strong, unusual stigma.

I’m genuinely disheartened to see such negative perceptions prevalent. To put it in my own words, it’s distressing to hear comments like, “Oh, she’s divorced, marked as flawed, undesirable in the eyes of others.”

Or, in a more personal context: I can’t help but feel dismayed when I encounter such unfounded judgments. For instance, it saddens me to hear people say about someone else, “God, she’s divorced, labeled as broken, no one seems to want her.

Women approaching their forties, without having had a child, often find themselves in a challenging position when it comes to making such decisions. It takes bravery, self-love, self-care, and ultimately, personal happiness to navigate this situation. Life offers only one opportunity, so make it count.

Currently, Poppy is in a loving partnership with the affluent entrepreneur, Archie Keswick. He is the father of the baby girl that Poppy is expecting, marking her first child. Earlier this year, she expressed, ‘He truly is everything I’ve always dreamed of.’

Archie boasts a privately estimated wealth of approximately £6.35 billion and isn’t new to high-profile romances; in the past, he was involved with the renowned actress, Sienna Miller.
