Jacqui Heinrich of Fox News fact-checks the story of her own engagement: ‘True’
According to Jacqui Heinrich, a seasoned White House correspondent at Fox News, she confirmed the authenticity of her engagement to Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick on Tuesday. In other words, the story is not fabricated or false.
In a field of lavender in Provence, France, as reported by People, a Republican from Pennsylvania proposed to Heinrich. The journalist verified this story and added some romantic emojis, stating, “Verified fact: true.

Kayleigh McEnany, a co-host on Fox News Channel’s ‘Outnumbered,’ and her husband, Sean Gilmartin, have just welcomed their third child together – a baby girl.
Joe Concha from Fox News commented that the cooking was what sealed the deal, congratulating Jacqui. Trey Yingst agreed, saying ‘I love this news’, and Jessica Tarlov, a Democratic representative on ‘The Five’, also expressed her congratulations, exclaiming ‘Ahhhhh congratulations!!'”.
On June 29th, Fitzpatrick proposed a question, according to People’s report. Before rushing off to vote on the recently passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act, he was inspired by a statement made by Heinrich in an interview with the Boston Globe last summer, as we approached the 2024 election. He had expressed his desire for leisurely meals along the French Riviera and Provence, enjoying sunlit lavender fields, crisp wines, and salty butter throughout the days.
It seems that Fitzpatrick, aged 51, had arranged a summer vacation to France as a birthday present for Heinrich, who will be turning 37 in November. However, the journalist was worried, as she shared with a media outlet specializing in celebrities, because her partner might need to leave the trip early to cast his vote against Trump’s legislation, which the president had just signed into law on July 4th. Fitzpatrick pondered whether to reschedule the trip due to this potential issue.
She shared with People, “He said, ‘We’re heading out. We’re off to the lavender fields. For me, it’s just about seeing the lavender fields at sunrise,'” which struck her as unusual, given he had never shown such eagerness for flower fields before. She sensed that a proposal might be his motive behind this sudden enthusiasm.

What was supposed to be a 10-day trip was whittled down to only a couple of days.
Upon reaching Nice, France, they embarked on a two-hour drive through the night to witness the sunrise in Valensole, a town famed for its lavender fields and truffles. Perched atop a hill overlooking a tiny river valley, this picturesque locale hosts an annual lavender festival every third Sunday of July. However, our travelers were not enchanted by the fragrant blooms; thus, they chose to skip the festival instead.
Fitzpatrick had a plan up his sleeve. He made a detour to a specific lavender field and invited Heinrich for a leisurely walk while he snapped some pictures, according to People. As she admired the scenery, a photographer and a drone suddenly appeared, she recalled, and Fitzpatrick proposed to her by kneeling down with a ring from their family’s long-time jeweler.
The photos, displayed on their website, are quite charming. Heinrich, who’s been in a relationship with Fitzpatrick since the 2021 Kennedy Center Honors, agreed when asked.

After welcoming a new baby, Kat Timpf has returned to Fox News’ late-night program ‘Gutfeld.’ She humorously shares that she’s transitioned from someone she once felt like vomiting upon, to being among those very individuals now.
Heinrich expressed to People that she deeply admires the intellect of her fiancé, a five-term congressman who has previously served as an FBI special agent and federal prosecutor. As per his bio, Fitzpatrick was also involved with U.S. Special Forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Heinrich stated, “I admire his methodology for tackling problems and resolving intricate matters. He’s robust and devout, which seems to draw me nearer to God. To me, he’s like a breath of fresh air, possessing endearing qualities such as sweetness, gentleness, and kindness that make him a delight to be with, adding warmth to life.
In addition to this partnership, information on the congressman’s site unveils an added advantage: If Heinrich requires legal representation, accounting services, or emergency medical assistance, she can rest assured that Fitzpatrick holds licenses for all three professions.
