As a die-hard fan of Jacob Elordi since his days as Noah Flynn in “The Kissing Booth,” I must confess that my initial reaction to his new beard was one of shock, followed swiftly by denial, and then anger. I mean, he’s the epitome of perfection with that clean-shaven, chiseled jawline! But, alas, it seems the universe has a cruel sense of humor, and Elordi decided to grow a beard just as my heart was recovering from his stunning transformation in “Euphoria.” I guess it’s time for me to embrace this new phase, even if it means trading in my poster of a fresh-faced Elordi for one with a bushy beard.
Jacob Elordi has sparked backlash from fans after stepping out with new facial hair.
On Friday at the Marrakech International Film Festival, the 27-year-old Australian actor made his first appearance sporting a full beard.
Following the release of red-carpet images from the event on social platforms, enthusiasts didn’t hesitate to share their opinions about Elordi’s latest style.
One user exclaimed on X, previously known as Twitter, ‘Needs a trim!’, as another user suggested, ‘Time for a razor session!’
A third questioned, ‘How did his hair grow so long so quickly?’
Another wrote, ‘This better be for a movie role because WTF is that??!’
There seems to be some doubt about whether Elordi’s latest style change is for a movie character or just personal preference, however, he does have multiple films scheduled for release in the future.
It has been disclosed that Elordi is set to star in an upcoming adaption of Emily Bronte’s timeless novel, Wuthering Heights.

In this production, he is set to play the main character, Heathcliff, whereas Margot Robbie assumes the role of Catherine Earnshaw.
Upon learning about Emerald Fennell’s forthcoming adaptation, I found myself met with a wave of criticism from fellow enthusiasts shortly following the announcement.
As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but express my concerns on social media about the casting choice for Heathcliff, a character in the novel who is described as having dark skin.
It seems reasonable to surmise that Emerald Fennell might not, in fact, be the one adapting Wuthering Heights…
She’s drawing inspiration from it but the narrative is distinct, with only shared character names and a similar setting as the time period. It’s a completely different story altogether.
Another added, ‘Truly the worst casting I’ve ever perceived, I’m gagged by how Emerald Fennell is committed to never serving.’
One social media user penned, ‘So what we’ve learned is that emerald fennell has not read wuthering heights.’
This past week, it was Jacob who decided to pause his Instagram activity, sparking rumors among followers that he could be selected for the upcoming American Psycho reboot.

In October, it was revealed that Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino intends to create a fresh adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ 1991 novel with the same title.
In 2000, the movie version of the book was directed by Mary Harron, with Christian Bale taking on the main character.
Shortly following the unveiling of the upcoming movie, the 27-year-old performer erased his social media presence, sparking whispers that he might take on the role of Patrick Bateman.
Fans seemed quite taken with the idea of the Melbourne-born actor playing the yuppy serial killer.
‘He’s going to play the lead in American psycho isn’t he?’ wrote one fan on X.
Others chimed in to agree, with one writing, ‘that’s what I expect lol.’
‘Perfect role for him,’ said another.
Many people were taken aback by the deactivation of Jacob’s Instagram account, as he’s typically quite active on that social media site.
It’s quite unexpected! Fans can’t get enough of Jacob Elordi on social media. I’m curious to know what led him to make that choice, as another admirer on X pointed out.
