Jacob Elordi has revealed he broke both of his heels earlier this year.
The actor known for his role in Saltburn was injured in an accident earlier this year, and details were kept private. This injury prevented him from participating as a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jacob shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he broke his back after jumping from a height.
He shared that he fractured both of his heels earlier in the year after jumping from a height, telling guest host and ‘Euphoria’ costar Colman Domingo about the incident.
He explained that he had to wear a cast and a special boot while filming a particularly gruesome scene for the third season of Euphoria. The scene involved his character, Nate Jacobs, having a toe and finger cut off.
‘I was in a cast and a moon boot at the same time that Nate was getting his digits cut off,’ he said.
People found it funny and kept joking about my method acting. I responded by saying I actually injured myself – I cut my toe badly during the process.
