Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s manager, Gemma O’Neill, has shared more information about her ‘Her Best Life Retreat‘ in Sydney, which will feature Meghan Markle as a special guest.
Gemma gave a quick look inside the still-being-built conference room at the InterContinental Hotel in Coogee, where she’s planning a gala dinner with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. It’s a relatively small space.
The small room held several round tables, all turned towards a tiny stage. On the stage were two chairs and a small side table holding water.
However, Gemma captioned the video saying the ‘actual stage design’ would be ‘top secret’.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE what I just heard! Apparently, the room where the gala dinner is happening – the one where Meghan Markle herself is doing a Q&A – is actually kind of small! I mean, can you imagine being in such close proximity to her? It’s going to be incredibly intimate, even if it’s a bit cozy! I’m already picturing it – it’s going to be magical!
The talent agent, 42, also revealed the retreat’s latest guest, Dr Justine Corry.
She shared a video on her Besties podcast excitedly talking about her weekend with Dr. Corry.
Gemma explained that she finally began to understand things on the weekend. She spent the whole day reviewing everything she’d ever watched about Meghan.
I was completely captivated. I had notes scattered all over, and as I realized how much I enjoyed talking to her, I became incredibly enthusiastic.
Gemma also shared that Dr. Corry would be a special guest at the retreat, offering his expertise as a relationship coach.
Dr. Corry explained to Gemma that the core idea revolves around living a fulfilling life, and he’d been considering how his own actions align with that concept.
I want to help women understand how their thought patterns, or ‘schemas,’ might be holding them back from reaching their full potential.
Understanding your core beliefs and values is incredibly powerful. It helps you be genuine, live by what’s important to you, and bounce back from difficult emotions.
Dr. Corry is a clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience who specializes in understanding behavior and helping people make lasting changes. She describes herself as a scientist and someone who challenges conventional thinking.
Is it fair to charge thousands for a retreat promising “empowerment” with celebrity guests?

She currently seems to be working as a relationship coach, mostly helping women. It’s not known whether she still has an active license to practice psychology.
She previously co-founded and worked as a leading clinical psychologist at The Good Mood Clinic in Bondi Junction, alongside Dr. Gemma Gladstone.
Both Dr. Corry and Dr. Gladstone have recently left the clinic. Dr. Corry left in February of last year, and Dr. Gladstone departed in December 2023.
Since then, they’ve both transitioned to becoming relationship coaches and changed their brand to Schema Therapy For Life.
Dr. Corry is a therapist who uses schema therapy, a type of counseling that combines different approaches to help people break unhealthy patterns in their lives. These patterns often develop when childhood emotional needs aren’t met.
Originally from New Zealand, she first studied social sciences at The University of Waikato. She then moved to Australia in the 1990s to earn a degree in clinical psychology from UNSW.
From 1999 to 2013, Dr. Corry was a research associate at UNSW’s School of Psychiatry. She also co-founded The Good Mood Clinic in 2008.
I’m really aiming for a cozy and personal vibe with this event. I’m even playing matchmaker a little – I’m setting up a fun blind date for any wonderful women who might be coming solo, so everyone feels comfortable and connected!
It’s wonderful to see so many women joining on their own, specifically to make new friends and find close companions. They’ve been very open about wanting to build those connections, and I really appreciate that.
It feels a bit like we’re arranging blind dates – we’re trying to connect people at the table with each other.
Gemma, the owner of the recently failed Gemmie Agency which owed $536,000—primarily to the Australian Taxation Office—has announced a retreat scheduled for April 17-19 at the InterContinental Sydney in Coogee.
This three-day event, designed to help women feel empowered and focus on wellness, costs between $2,699 and $3,199 per person to attend.
The luxurious InterContinental Hotel has assured guests who will briefly meet Meghan and participate in a question-and-answer session that they can enjoy a relaxing time by the pool with views of Coogee Beach.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I was SO excited about seeing pictures of Meghan relaxing by that incredible infinity pool overlooking the ocean! I’ve been following the updates on the resort, and it turns out it’s still being built! Can you believe it? Apparently, the whole spa area, the bar, and this amazing ‘leisure deck’ they’re building aren’t finished yet – they say next month, though! I’m practically counting down the days until I can picture her there, finally enjoying some peace and quiet. It’s going to be amazing!
A hotel guest who visited last week described the renovated pool as unfinished and an eyesore, according to the Daily Mail.
