As a die-hard admirer of Jackie O Henderson, I was utterly captivated when she shared her hidden health struggle during her recent chat on an unusual tactic employed by law enforcement towards celebrity traffic violators.

On the airing of The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Wednesday, the 49-year-old radio personality disclosed that she underwent a procedure where something was removed from her chest.

Jackie disclosed this information following a query from a listener who noticed an unusual way of wearing a seatbelt in one of her recent videos posted on the radio station’s Instagram account – specifically, Jackie was seen wearing it under her arm instead of across her shoulder.

The host shared that while she understood wearing the belt incorrectly wasn’t ideal, she had undergone a recent surgery where part of her chest was removed, causing the fabric to irritate her skin directly.

As someone who has had a few close calls while driving without a properly fastened seatbelt, I can’t stress enough the importance of always wearing one correctly. The technology used by traffic cameras to detect whether drivers are buckled in is impressive and unforgiving. I, being a dedicated follower, took to the airwaves to relay my personal encounter with a fine-imposing threat for not buckling up – the seatbelt issue.

Here in New South Wales, where I reside, I’m well aware that authorities can impose fines on individuals found driving without wearing a seatbelt, provided there’s enough substantiating evidence.

Any video capture, be it from a security camera or produced for a television program, can be deemed as valid proof.

There are also similar laws in the other states and territories of Australia.

On Wednesday’s show, it was explained later that Jackie had gotten lost en route to the KIIS FM studios, as she divulged the reason behind her navigation struggles.

During the radio broadcast, producer Pedro Vitola inquired from the host as to why she had arrived so close to her scheduled 6am airtime, implying that she had come dangerously close to missing it.

Additionally, he raised doubts about whether Jackie might have stayed overnight at someone else’s place when she stated that she became lost en route to the studio.

“It’s great to see you, Pedro mentioned, as he had received an unusual message from you earlier about getting lost.”

Based on my extensive experience traveling, I can confidently say that it’s highly unlikely for one to get lost repeatedly while taking the same route daily. My guess is, you must have stayed at a friend or acquaintance’s place and are now familiar with their neighborhood.

Jackie subsequently clarified that she had mistakenly driven into a one-directional street following her stop at a gas station, as she was not well acquainted with the neighborhood.

She mentioned that she needed to be on the other side of the street, but when she left the service station, there was a tram right there, preventing her from crossing over.

According to the radio personality, she ended up taking a route that was opposite her workplace, discovered a side road, and ultimately became disoriented.
