Jackie O Henderson reveals her rules for fans approaching her in public- as she recalls how two women followed her as she left her house
As a lifestyle expert with years of experience navigating the public eye, I wholeheartedly empathize with Jackie O Henderson and her co-host Kyle Sandilands’ sentiments regarding fan interactions. It’s essential to remember that celebrities are people too, and while they appreciate the love and support from their fans, it’s crucial to respect their personal space and time.
Jackie O Henderson and her fellow presenter, Kyle Sandilands, have shared their preferred guidelines for fans when interacting with them in person.
On Tuesday, the duo conversed about their feelings towards encounters with fans during their visit to KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O show, accompanied by executive producer Bruno Bouchet.
Instead, the radio team subsequently disclosed what fans ought to, as well as what they shouldn’t, do when encountering them in public places.
As Jackie, 49, I recounted an unusual incident that happened to me not long ago in Sydney. Upon leaving my house, I found myself being trailed by two individuals. While it wasn’t unsettling, I wished they had simply come up to me and initiated a conversation instead of following me from afar.
A few days ago, as I was stepping out of my home, I spotted two girls in a white vehicle. They seemed to be gesturing towards me, and it was clear that they appeared to recognize me, as she put it.
For quite some time, they trailed closely behind me. It left me questioning their actions, thinking, “Oh my goodness, what on earth are they up to?” Eventually, I pulled over to park the vehicle since Kitty needed to get out.
I left my vehicle parked at that spot for approximately five minutes, but they continued waiting, delay after delay, as if time stood still. Eventually, they resumed their journey behind me.
‘You know what just come up, just come up when I was in the parked car and say hi.’
Jackie and Kyle also agreed that receiving a ‘walk by compliment’ is ‘the best thing’.
Instead, they opted to express their displeasure when someone attempts to video call a friend while interrupting them on the street.
Kyle also added that he doesn’t like being stopped by fans for more than 30 seconds to a minute.

Following her recent disclosure, it’s been revealed that Jackie is facing challenges when it comes to dating after she sealed a massive multi-million dollar contract.
Last week on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, the radio personality shared insights into her personal relationships, disclosing a piece of wisdom her father had once offered her.
Last night, my father told me over the phone, “‘Sweetheart, you won’t find someone who doesn’t want you for your wealth,'” Jackie shared while Kyle erupted in laughter.
‘I said to him, “What about me? Just me, Dad? Aren’t I enough for someone?”‘
Kyle then asked what Jackie’s father said in response to her question.
He asserted that he himself isn’t interested in long-term relationships, and added that typically, men in their forties are not concerned with seeking long-term commitments.
