Jackie O Henderson found herself blushing publicly when a woman accused her, during a live broadcast, of having negatively impacted her life.

On Thursday, one of the hosts of the Kyle and Jackie O Show, aged 49, found herself blushing intensely after encountering a previous Popstars competitor who leveled an unexpected allegation against her.

As a passionate devotee looking back on my journey, I find myself reminiscing about the incredible opportunity that came my way in the year 2000 at the tender age of 29. That’s right, I’m Angie Chase, and I had the privilege of gracing our television screens for the very first time on Popstars – a momentous debut indeed!

As a die-hard enthusiast, I can’t help but share this captivating tale. You see, Jackie – a renowned figure from that popular reality show – happened to catch a glimpse of Angie honing her audition skills in the restroom. Instantly smitten by her talent, Jackie couldn’t resist and summoned a film crew on the spot to immortalize Angie’s remarkable practice session!

Angie was suggested to perform Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” for Jackie and the judges, as the radio personality had indicated she might advance due to their previous rapport. However, things didn’t unfold as expected.

After Angie’s show, Sophie Monk (who was 19 at the time) performed the same song during an audition. This led Jackie to replace Angie with Sophie.

Following years of observing Sophie’s flourishing career, Angie chose to address Jackie 24 years after their last encounter, in a live broadcast on KIIS FM’s ‘Remember Me’ feature.

‘You chose Sophie over me!’ Angie began.

After that, Jackie’s fellow host, Kyle Sandilands, mentioned, “Sophie subsequently built a thriving career in singing.”

Sophie became a member of one of Australia’s leading girl groups, Bardot, following their formation on Popstars in the year 1999.

The team broke up shortly after a few years, dissolving in early 2002. However, Sophie continued her journey in the television industry.

Angie then detailed how her life turned out compared to Sophie’s.

She took on the role of The Bachelorette, while I found myself living as a spinster in Woy Woy, sharing my life with a cat and a replica Louis Vuitton purse. It was meant to be authentic; it should’ve been from the Bali Louis Vuitton store.

Jackie then wondered whether Angie has any jealousy about Sophie Monk’s career.

As I frequently find myself admiring Sophie’s success, I sometimes catch myself thinking, “If only Jackie had picked me instead, it could have been me!” This thought crosses my mind from time to time as a lifestyle expert and observer of human dynamics.

‘I can’t look at a rose without having a nervous breakdown,’ Angie replied.

“Given the chance, Jackie, I could have appeared on The Bachelorette and possibly been engaged to a famous musician in Hollywood. But here I am, residing in Woy Woy instead,” she concluded.

After Jackie inquired about Angie’s current profession, the ex-Popstars competitor replied, ‘I work as a hairstylist now, thanks for asking Jackie. I needed to return to vocational school.’
