‘Jackass 5’ Confirms Title, Release Date for the Final ‘Jackass’ Movie Ever

I just got back from CinemaCon in Las Vegas, and wow, it was a whirlwind! Every year, the studios go all-out to impress theater owners with what they’ve got coming up. This year was no different – we got our first look at the Avengers: Doomsday trailer, a longer clip from Supergirl, some amazing footage from Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, and even the announcement of Top Gun 3! That’s just scratching the surface, honestly. It’s easy for smaller, more intimate films to get overshadowed by all the big-budget effects extravaganzas, but one franchise always manages to cut through the noise. They don’t need CGI to get a reaction, and they had some exciting news to share at CinemaCon too.

According to Variety, the final Jackass movie now has a title and release date. Appropriately titled Jackass: Best and Last, the film is set to hit theaters on June 26th, where it will compete with Supergirl. The announcement came with the release of the trailer, which shows a mix of classic footage and new, incredibly painful stunts – including a robotic prostate exam, a shock collar for, well, you can imagine, and a terrifying escape room. It’s exactly the kind of over-the-top content fans expect from the Jackass team.

Johnny Knoxville, one of the original creators and stars of the Jackass franchise, was present at the film’s debut. Though the team has often talked about retiring from the dangerous stunts that define the movies, Knoxville assured the audience that this time they’re serious. “I’m trying not to get emotional,” he said, “but this is the final Jackass movie. Jackass means a lot to me, and knowing it was the last one, we really pushed ourselves to make it our best film yet.”

The latest Jackass movie, Jackass: Best and Last, arrives on June 26th, and fans can expect a slightly different approach from Johnny Knoxville. He revealed earlier this year that, due to health concerns, he had to be more careful when planning the stunts for this final installment. Speaking on the Books That Changed My Life podcast in January 2026, Knoxville said he’s already suffered too many concussions and couldn’t risk another head injury. However, he assured fans he’d still be just as daring, stating he doesn’t worry about anything except protecting his head.
