Jack Whitehall heads out for a game of padel after leaving his mother Hilary ‘despairing’ by making wedding faux pas with just days to go until his big day with Roxy Horner

Jack Whitehall played a game of padel on Thursday, seemingly to take his mind off things, after his mother, Hilary, became upset when he mistakenly told her the wrong details about his wedding plans.

The 37-year-old comedian looked relaxed and dressed down while heading to a golf game just before his wedding to model Roxy Horner.

The presenter sported a black hoodie which he paired with navy shorts and a light grey T-shirt. 

He finished getting ready for his outing with a black cap and white trainers, completing his look with a tennis racket.

Richard Eden of the Daily Mail reported that Jack had given his mother, Hilary, dress code instructions a few weeks prior, but she later discovered those instructions were wrong.

She explained that Jack had given her incorrect information about the wedding dress code weeks ago, leading her to buy the wrong outfit. When the wedding invitation arrived, it specified a completely different dress code. Jack simply apologized, calling her ‘Mumsy’.

Just before their wedding on Wednesday, Roxy and Jack shared a kiss as they got into a taxi. Her wedding dress was also brought out and loaded into the cab, showing that final preparations were underway.

Roxy was clearly getting into wedding mode, even in her casual outfit – a white T-shirt, baseball cap, and belt paired with light-wash jeans.

The couple, who have a two-year-old daughter named Elsie, showed their affection for each other with a loving goodbye before their important event.

Jack seemed both excited and anxious as he loaded the taxi with suitcases and his daughter’s stroller.

Hilary is clearly upset, following a lively and fun-filled bachelorette party with Roxy and her loved ones earlier this month.

Roxy recently spent a fun-filled weekend in London with friends. She shared highlights on Instagram, including karaoke, a special dinner, and a dance lesson taught by former Strictly Come Dancing professional, Luba Mushtuk.

Roxy was especially thrilled when a stripper from a ‘Magic Mike’-style show gave her a lap dance on stage, leaving her completely surprised and amazed.

The glamorous woman shared a funny story about a male stripper performing at the Hippodrome Casino, where she and her friends had great seats in the front row.

Jack recently thanked the Daily Mail for helping him remember details of his stag do, admitting to Chris Moyles that he began drinking at 11 a.m. He described his memories as ‘patchy’.

The latest host of Saturday Night Live had a fun night out with James Corden and Jamie Redknapp, which included a visit to the mini-golf bar Swingers and a stop at a lively club.

The comedian and actor elaborated on some of the ‘unwise’ antics to Radio X.

He admitted to starting to drink Guinness at 11 in the morning and having a somewhat hazy memory, but insisted the celebration itself was ‘pretty mild’.

He described the day as fairly calm and uneventful. He admitted to starting with a Guinness around 11 AM, which he acknowledged wasn’t a great idea, and confessed his memory of the evening was a bit hazy.

Fortunately, the Daily Mail published a detailed account the next day, so I woke up to find out exactly what had happened the night before.

For a fun Saturday, Jack started a six-hour pub crawl in Soho dressed in a golden crown, a Tottenham Hotspur shirt, and a cape. He said he was made to wear the outfit for the occasion.

Harry Redknapp, James Corden, and former rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio were with him on his bachelor party. James, 47, and Jamie, 52, had worked with Whitehall for many years on the Sky comedy sports show, A League Of Their Own.
