Jack Vidgen appears in good health as he attends church service with his mother after seventh stint in rehab

Jack Vidgen is on the mend after a recent stint in rehab.

On a Sunday, the ex-star from Australia’s Got Talent, who has faced troubles, was seen paying a visit to a local church in Sydney along with his mother.

After the service, the pop singer was accompanied by his mother Rachel Hayton for a coffee and a leisurely stroll together.

Jack was looking fit and cheerful as he ambled, taking sips from a takeout container and occasionally using an e-cigarette.

He kept warm in a crisp white hoodie paired with pale blue track pants and a pair of sneakers.

In a friendly manner, Jack finished off his appearance with a pair of shades and engaged cheerfully with his mom, who accompanied her pet dog during their stroll.

Previously, he and his mother shared a delightful chat over some refreshments at a nearby café, a heartfelt discussion that brought a smile to his face.

After Jack posted a moving, late Mother’s Day tribute for his mother before embarking on his seventh stint in rehabilitation.

The individual, aged 28, who revealed earlier in the year that he was struggling with addiction once more at a rehabilitation facility following a recent slip-up, posted an affectionate message for his audience.

He included a selfie, in which his adoring mother can be seen embracing him on a park bench.

I mentioned that my Mother’s Day greeting arrived a bit late, since I wasn’t able to celebrate with my mom on the actual day last month.

I admitted that I posted my Mother’s Day tribute a bit later than usual, as I couldn’t be with my mom for the special occasion earlier in the month.

Additionally, he admitted that at the time the photo was snapped, his mother was visiting him and urged him to seek professional assistance for his struggle with addiction, but he declined her request.

He shared a photo he had taken with his mother on April 16th, just last month. That day happened to be during one of his recent periods of illness, as he explained further.

Upon my journey inland from my coastal abode, I yearned for a cup of coffee and hoped you’d accompany me on this path. I also harbored the idea that perhaps we might consider a temporary stay at a rehabilitation facility together.

I noticed the deep pain it caused her when I shared that I wasn’t planning on giving up my vices and wouldn’t return with her.

Experiencing addiction can undoubtedly be challenging for the individual, but from a familial perspective, particularly as a parent, it’s safe to say that witnessing your loved one struggle with addiction brings intense pain and leaves you feeling utterly powerless.

Dear Mom, you are truly a beacon of kindness and strength. You’ve faced countless challenges in your own life, yet you’ve stood by my side with unwavering love and guidance during our shared struggles. When I needed a gentle touch, you offered compassion, and when I required a firm hand, you provided the necessary tough love. Your resilience and care are truly inspiring.

‘You’re an incredible woman and are so loved by so many, I hope you know that.’

He signed off the message ‘Bestest mum in the whole wide world’ and added two kisses.

Previously, Jack took to social media, expressing his emotions in a heartfelt manner as he announced his return to a recovery center for the seventh occasion.

The singer explained he recently suffered a relapse and was once again fighting addiction.

Hey there, this isn’t the video I had planned for five months from now, since I haven’t posted anything on Instagram yet,” Jack explained.

Choking back sobs, Jack detailed his recent experience.

‘I relapsed, that was two months ago,’ he said.

In the same vein, I find myself in a situation where I believe I’ve disappointed many individuals, yet I hesitated to discuss it further due to the voice within me that says, “Don’t bother, nobody cares.

Additionally, Jack disclosed that he had filed a police complaint concerning an undisclosed issue, which has left him feeling uneasy or apprehensive.

He went on to express, “However, it seems crucial for me to share that I’m facing an issue that will arise within a few months.

‘I just feel think I’m just really scared. I’ve been really scared for so many years.’

He signed off by telling followers he was not ‘doing okay’ but he would be ‘okay’.

Jack, who’s frequently used social media to discuss his struggles with addiction, recently added a detailed description along with the video as well.

Five years ago, I filed a police report, and ever since, it has cast a long shadow on my life. I’ve been yearning for this situation to resolve, and that’s why I decided to reach out.

For those who have experienced suffering, it resonates deeply. But if you’ve been a victim of addiction, that understanding goes far deeper still.

Lately, I find myself facing a lot of difficulties, and I’m not entirely sure why, but I feel the need to discuss these issues as I feel there are people out there who might understand. However, it seems that my current circle doesn’t quite grasp what I’m going through.

Essentially, this video is meant to reach out, greet you, and share a personal update – I’m not feeling great at the moment, but I want you to know things are going to get better for me.

Looking ahead, I must confess I feel apprehensive about what lies before me. You see, there’s a challenge looming on the horizon that has lingered in my life for the past five years. It’s a situation so complex and burdensome, it’s something I wouldn’t inflict upon anyone, not even my most formidable adversary.

However, I recognize that this moment calls for me to draw upon my inner fortitude and embrace the truth of who I am. I must step forward courageously to face what lies ahead, knowing that my strength and authenticity will guide me through this journey.

‘As a victim of sexual abuse I will get through this. Alive. I love you all. Jack x.’

The performer rose to fame after winning the fifth season of Australia’s Got Talent in 2011.

After taking a break from public attention for several years, he reemerged into significance in 2019, participating as a competitor on The Voice.

He made it all the way to the semi-finals before being eliminated.
