Jack P. Shepherd and his new wife  Hanni Treweek depart their wedding celebrations together at 1am alongside bleary-eyed guests

At 1 am on Sunday morning, Jack P. Shepherd and his newlywed Hanni Treweek exited their wedding festivities, accompanied by their sleepy friends.

37-year-old actor and his 35-year-old partner Hanni got married at Manchester Cathedral, with friends, relatives, and coworkers present. The ceremony took place a little over a year after he proposed during a safari trip in Tanzania, Africa.

After the noisy festivities, they moved towards the reception area and eventually made their way back to their hotel in Manchester during the early hours of the next morning.

Upon departing from her wedding, Hanni switched her delicate lace ceremony gown for an enchanting, strapless silk dress instead.

She pulled back her dark hair into an arrangement and chose a bright makeup style as the duo got into a car that was already there, preparing to return.

Jack, who’s been portraying the famous character David Platt on ITV’s series since 2000, exuded elegance in a smart white suit.

In simpler terms, on-screen partners Sally Carman and Joe Duttine, who portray characters from Coronation Street, were spotted exiting the same event. The couple seemed tired yet affectionate, sharing a tender kiss in public.

During the morning, the newlywed couple passionately kissed while being showered with white confetti following their heartfelt wedding ceremony.

Jack showed up in a red Mustang, accompanied by his mom and his son Reuben, whom he co-parents with his former partner, Lauren Shippey.

Hanni soon followed, adorning herself in a graceful white dress embellished with lace and featuring a lengthy train.

Lucy Fallon, known for her role as David’s niece Bethany Platt on Coronation Street, drew attention in a deep-cut yellow dress paired with golden high-heeled sandals.

Tina O’Brien, portraying her character Sarah, donned a stylish, deep-necked dress in shades of blue and white. On the other hand, her screen spouse Julia Goulding chose a vibrant turquoise outfit for the occasion.

At the event, some other well-known Corrie cast members were present, including Samia Longchambon, Colson Smith, Ben Price, Alan Halsall, and Jayne Danson.

Earlier this year, Jack, who emerged victorious on Celebrity Big Brother, had disclosed that he participated in the program with the intention of funding his upcoming wedding expenses.

Previously, a source shared with The Sun that they were sparing no effort to ensure their wedding would be everything they’ve always imagined.

On Saturday, it’s been reported that Jack and Hanni will be getting married in the grand Manchester Cathedral in a beautiful white ceremony.

In the role of a fellow storyline writer and researcher alongside Jack on Corrie, Hanni captivated everyone with her radiant appearance in a classy, high-necked, white lace mini-dress, gracefully dancing to the rhythm of live tunes throughout the evening.

After savoring lunch and cocktails at The Ivy, she took pictures with her friends while donning Jack masks, and she even sipped from an oversized “Bride” straw. This was all with her hen party in tow.

On Sunday, Hanni posted on her Instagram Story that she and Jack attended their first dance lesson. She shared a selfie taken in a studio, where they were both reflected, with the caption: “Despite being hungover, we’re dancing our way towards becoming Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd.

As I gaze at these images from my pre-wedding bash, I can’t help but exclaim: “This wasn’t just any hen party, it was ‘The non-hen party party!’ A fortnight before the big day, and I find myself surrounded by these stunning ladies—the fruits of a 25-year friendship journey. How incredibly fortunate we are to have each other!

I adore each one of you so deeply, and I can’t express enough gratitude for organizing a unique ‘non-hen’ party for me. It couldn’t have been better! When we meet again, I’ll be walking down the aisle.

In June, Hanni posted a heartfelt message commemorating the anniversary of her engagement to her future spouse.

Hanni shared a sweet tribute to her husband as she counted down the days to the nuptials.

Hanni posted: “365 days as your fiancee, just 51 days left before we’re married.

Reflecting on our most cherished moments together, Tanzania remains deeply etched in my heart 🇹🇿💖. As we celebrate our first anniversary, I’m reminded of the enchantment that filled this past year ✨.

On Instagram Story, Jack re-shared a post saying: ‘Celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary, @hannitreweek! I feel incredibly fortunate to refer to you as my future bride.’

During that moment, they took adoring photographs while wearing safari outfits, which they subsequently shared on social media platforms to break the joyous news about their relationship.

Flashing her sparkling engagement ring, Hannah beamed for the camera before kissing her new fiancé.

Captioning the snaps, she gushed: ‘05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!’

Jack and Hanni began dating in 2017, having first crossed paths when she was working in the press office at a soap opera.

She later became a story liner on the ITV show, before quitting to work as a fashion influencer.

Though they were coworkers, it was at a mutual friend’s wedding where Jack managed to win over Hanni, marking the start of their romantic relationship.

In an interview with OK! Magazine back in 2020, Jack reminisced about a shared experience: ‘Our mutual friends tied the knot, and we both attended their wedding as guests.’

‘We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.’

Afterward, they encountered each other once more at a Sainsbury’s, sparking a series of text messages and the bloom of a romantic relationship.

Later on, I sent her a message saying, “That was an uncomfortable moment,” to which she replied that she felt she didn’t look good. From there, our conversation continued via texts.

Initially, I genuinely believed she was well-toned – it turned out to be the woman I’m attracted to, donning Lycra. Before long, we found ourselves going out on our inaugural date, and there was an immediate connection between us.
