As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m deeply moved to express my personal feelings on the passing of my beloved father, Ozzy. Only a few days have passed since he was peacefully laid to rest in Buckinghamshire, and the void left behind is profound.
In 2019, Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of Black Sabbath, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 76 on July 22, surrounded by his loved ones.
Based on his death certificate, the singer passed away due to a sudden heart attack (acute myocardial infarction) and cardiac arrest that occurred outside a hospital.
On social media for the first time since his passing, Jack expressed his deep grief, saying that his heart has been deeply wounded by the loss of his father, accompanied by moving words meant to honor his memory.
Jack, aged 39, expressed: “I’ve felt quite reluctant to share anything since my father’s passing. My heart has been aching deeply.
I’ll make this brief as he disliked lengthy, drawn-out talks. He was a multifaceted individual who touched the lives of many, but I was incredibly fortunate and grateful to be among the few who were able to address him as “Dad.

‘My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude.
I spent 14,501 days with that man, and I truly believe it was a tremendous blessing. This sentiment perfectly encapsulates who my father was.
Hunter S. Thompson famously stated: “Life isn’t meant to be a cautious journey towards the grave with the aim of arriving unscathed and well-preserved… it’s about living life to the fullest, pushing boundaries, experiencing everything, and ultimately shouting ‘What an incredible ride!’ as you zoom off, completely worn out but filled with joy.
‘That was my dad. He lived and he lived his life fully. I love you dad.’
Last week, I, a devoted fan, had the heavy heart of attending Jack Osbourne‘s poignant funeral procession in Birmingham. His mother, Sharon, along with his sisters, Kelly and Aimee, were bravely by his side during this emotional farewell, a testament to their unwavering love for their beloved brother and son.
Last week, Ozzy was buried at his personal estate in Buckinghamshire, with a small, private ceremony that included his family and several distinguished figures from the realm of rock music.
At the occasion held on their 250-acre property close to Gerrards Cross, Sharon, who is 72 and a widow, along with their children, were accompanied by celebrities such as Marilyn Manson and Zakk Wylde, the lead guitarist for Ozzy, during the event.
His death occurred merely a few weeks following his final performance on stage at the Villa Park stadium, which was located in his hometown of Birmingham.
Three weeks prior to his passing, he rejoined his original Black Sabbath bandmates for the initial time since 2005 at a concert.
Over 42,000 people filled the venue for the Back To The Beginning concert, where, at the end, he emotionally expressed his gratitude to the crowd: “I can hardly express how I feel – from the depths of my soul, thank you.
The official records cited three reasons behind the rock legend’s demise. These were an out-of-hospital heart attack, a severe heart attack known as acute myocardial infarction, and coronary artery disease. Additionally, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease complicated by autonomic dysfunction.
Last month, Ozzy’s family announced his passing, expressing their deep sorrow in a statement. They shared that he had died ‘enveloped by love’, and further explained that it was with an emotion beyond simple words that they were compelled to report the sad news: our cherished Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning.
He is survived by his wife Sharon and his five children Jessica, Louis, Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
On a typical Monday, Kelly, aged 40, known for her role in the 2000s reality show ‘The Osbournes’, expressed gratitude to her supporters via an Instagram story post.
She mentioned: “I’ve attempted to put words to paper a hundred times, yet I’m unsure if they’ll ever seem adequate… however, from the depths of my heart, I want to express gratitude.
Overwhelmed by the torrent of affection, encouragement, and heartfelt messages pouring in from all corners, I find myself buoyed up amidst life’s most turbulent waves. Each tender word, each recollected memory, every ounce of empathy bestowed has been a beacon of light in the darkest hours, resonating far deeper than mere words can convey.

Grief can be quite mysterious, often appearing unexpectedly in surges – I won’t be all right for some time ahead, but the comfort of knowing that my family is not the only one feeling this pain provides a sense of solace.
I’m cherishing the love, the memories, and the heritage passed on to me. Thanks for sticking by my side. You all mean the world to me. – Kelly #BirminghamForever #OzzyForever

In his final interview, conducted two weeks prior, Kelly discussed the excellent condition Ozzy was in.
Two days prior to her engagement to Sid Wilson at Ozzy’s last concert with his band in Villa Park, Birmingham, Kelly expressed that her father was in high spirits, feeling fantastic.
She expressed: “My father is fantastic! He’s absolutely thrilled for his last performance this coming Saturday. There’s a mix of anxiety and anticipation.
He’s handling everything smoothly, and rehearsals have been outstanding. It seems like it’s all focused on him. The upcoming event promises to be quite an emotional experience.
