Jack Black sets new record with A Minecraft Movie’s “absolute banger” song

Jack Black has set a new record with his quirky jingle which features in A Minecraft Movie.

In a brief 34-second span, “Steve’s Lava Chicken” made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at position 78, setting a record as the shortest song to ever make the chart.

In the realm of gaming, I stumbled upon an infectious tune from the official soundtrack of “A Minecraft Movie.” This groovy number was actually penned by the talented Black and the movie’s director, Jared Hess. When the actor performed this catchy hit, fans couldn’t contain their excitement, labeling it as a “jubilant, silly song.” As a gamer, I can’t help but feel the rhythm and vibe of this amazing track!

One person on YouTube remarked, “Jack Black is the sole individual I believe can create a song about lava chicken, and what a catchy hit it turns out to be!

Another person commented that they are repeatedly playing it because Jack Black is hilarious and has a great voice. Meanwhile, someone else expressed a desire for an extended version of the song.

Created by John Spiker, ‘Steve’s Lava Chicken’ falls short of the previous Hot 100 record holder, Kid Cudi’s ‘Beautiful Trip’, by a margin of just three seconds. In other words, ‘Steve’s Lava Chicken’ clocks in at 34 seconds long.

The song has managed to claim a spot on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart, even making it into the prestigious top 10 positions.

One of the tunes sung by Black in “A Minecraft Movie” soundtrack is a quick, catchy number called the jingle. Additionally, he collaborates with Jason Momoa on other tracks such as ‘I Feel Alive’, ‘Ode to Dennis’, and ‘Birthday Rap’. All four songs are included in the movie’s music collection.

In 2023, the song ‘Peaches,’ featured on the soundtrack for ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’, climbed up to the 56th spot on the Hot 100 chart, a significant achievement for Black.

One fan proposed that it seemed as though the creators noticed the success of ‘Peaches’, and in response, they provided numerous opportunities for Jack Black to display his impressive singing abilities.
