Last week, Jack Black was noticed publicly for the first time in Los Angeles, following allegations that George Clooney had pressured him into disbanding their rock group, Tenacious D.
55-year-old musician from School of Rock, who was present at Ozzy Osbourne’s last performance before his demise, opted for comfort during his leisurely walk in the warm summer weather.
He wore a short-sleeve black t-shirt, vibrant-colored shorts, and black footwear.
Black wore a backpack and listened to tunes with headphones for the daytime excursion.
Approximately a year ago, Tenacious D, the band that includes Kyle Gass as well, found themselves in a contentious situation. This occurred after Gass made a humorous remark at a show in Sydney, Australia, following an attempted assassination on Donald Trump.
During that moment, a cake was wheeled out on stage for Gass’ birthday celebration. Upon being asked to make a wish, he quipped, ‘Let’s not forget about Trump next time.’ However, this remark sparked controversy, leading them to cancel the rest of their tour and take an indefinite break.

Journalist Andrew Callaghan recently alleged that Clooney forced Black to disband Tenacious D.
In a three-hour sit-down conversation with Hunter Biden, broadcasted on his Channel 5 YouTube channel last week, the public figure expressed his views and statements.
In the extended conversation, the hunter significantly expressed his anger towards the Hollywood actor, with Andrew mentioning an anecdote about the celebrity approximately halfway through the discussion.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d like to share an intriguing tidbit about my connections in Tinseltown. One of my well-known acquaintances is Jack Black, famously recognized for his role in School of Rock. Incidentally, we used to live side by side!
After attempting an assassination on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, Tenacious D performed a concert in Sydney, Australia the next day. Incidentally, as Jack Black mentioned, one of their band members, Gass, joined them on stage.
He shouts something along the lines of, “Give it another try on Trump, but get a bit closer next time.” George Clooney is bombarding his phone with messages, saying, “If you don’t remove your bandmate from the group and publicly condemn this person…
Later on, Andrew asserted, “To be honest, I’m unsure about the implications, but it felt something like, ‘You’re dismissed!’ However, we’re uncertain from where or what exactly.
Therefore, he had no choice but to apologize and announce that a member of his band was facing severe mental health issues. As a result, they were putting the group on hold temporarily. Consequently, the tour was called off.

The YouTube personality shared with Hunter that it’s intriguing to notice Hollywood stars expressing more forward-thinking viewpoints, however,…
Prior to Andrew having a chance to speak further, Hunter Biden’s son abruptly leaned closer and exclaimed, “I’ll tell you what he thinks of him – let’s just say he has strong feelings! He feels this way not only about him, but also about everyone in his circle!
Last summer, in an opinion piece published in The New York Times, George Clooney advocated that Joe should consider withdrawing from the 2024 U.S. presidential race.
For quite some time, both George Clooney and Black have been active in the entertainment world. Notably, they shared the screen together in a Nespresso commercial all the way back in 2015.
Tenacious D, established by Black and Gass back in 1994, was right in the middle of their tour last July when Gass delivered the contentious remark during a live performance at a Sydney concert.
To honor his 64th birthday, which occurred just one day following an assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, a cake was presented. In this moment, Gass expressed his hope with the wish: “May you not fail to target Trump again.
As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t believe the controversy that erupted over their careless remark. Feeling remorseful, the two musicians swiftly apologized and decided to call off the rest of their tour, leaving me and many others hanging for the concert we had been eagerly waiting for.
On Sunday night in Sydney, the spontaneous remark I made was regrettable, unsuitable, risky, and a grave error. I firmly oppose any act of violence, regardless of its nature or target.

It turns out that what transpired was an unfortunate event, and I deeply regret the poor judgment I exhibited. I extend my sincerest apologies to everyone I may have disappointed, and I genuinely lament any distress I might have inflicted upon them.
Black, too, released a personal statement to DailyMail.com, expressing that he was taken aback by Gass’ remarks during the performance.
As a committed follower, I was taken aback by the remarks made during the show on Sunday. Rest assured, I unequivocally denounce hate speech and reject any encouragement of political violence in its entirety.
The actor went on to say, ‘After careful consideration, I believe it is no longer suitable to carry on with the Tenacious D tour, and all further creative projects are currently paused. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the fans for their unwavering support and understanding.’
Later on, a source shared with DailyMail.com that Jack Black remains close friends with Kyle Gass. When Kyle made a remark about Trump, it caught Jack off guard. Given his current position in the entertainment industry, Jack felt compelled to swiftly address and contain the ensuing controversy.
Despite being taken aback both by the situation itself and the response it elicited, Jack took care to address it proactively.
The source mentioned, ‘Jack wishes to avoid being shunned, and by wrapping up the tour, distancing himself, and with Kyle’s jest, he aims for people to swiftly move on from the matter.’
Currently, Jack is involved in numerous big-budget films, and stepping away from those projects might harm his career significantly. However, we can expect another appearance by Tenacious D eventually; it may take quite some time.

According to the source, Gass expressed genuine regret for the consequences that followed, initially thinking it was a casual remark made on a show. However, it seems this comment has grown beyond what he intended, and now he’s coming to terms with the situation as it stands.
‘He just hopes that people will forgive him and that it won’t impact his friendship with Jack.’
Gass was notably dropped from his talent agency Greene Talent after he made the comment.
Around a month following the event, Tenacious D’s future was disclosed by Black during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
I’m really fond of Tenacious D… There was a brief pause, but I can’t wait for their return. Everyone needs a rest at times, and we’ll be back soon.
Since the incident, Tenacious D has occasionally shared posts to the band’s main Instagram page.
In February, Kyle was captured in a photo, striking a pose beneath the famous Hollywood sign to share that he and his band, The Kyle Gass Company, would be setting off on a tour of Europe and the United Kingdom starting in May.
Last April, a nostalgic picture featuring Black and Gass, along with the late Val Kilmer, was posted online as a heartfelt tribute following his passing.
Previous week, the pair paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne after his passing by sharing another post. Notably, they were pictured seated beside the Black Sabbath musician in a significant photograph.
