On his 74th birthday, Trevor Green, our beloved newsreader at ITV, unfortunately lost his life during the early hours due to complications with his breathing, as has been shared.
Known for his extended tenure as the host of Grand Reports and his contributions to ITV News, this broadcaster has made a significant mark in the field.
On Sunday evening, a heartfelt message about his death was shared on Facebook through Piccadilly Radio’s page – a radio station in the North where Trevor spent a significant part of his long career. His distraught wife made this announcement.
Trevor passed away tranquilly this morning on his 74th birthday, as he had been experiencing breathing difficulties the night before.
I’ve sadly misplaced my one true love, leaving me adrift. Fortunately, he’s no longer suffering and, gratefully, we’ve had ample time recently to recall cherished moments and fulfill his desires.
I regret that I won’t be able to meet up this time; instead, I’m choosing some peaceful solitude to reminisce about our 44-year journey together. I’ll definitely keep you informed about future arrangements, and I’ll deeply miss him during this period.
