As a lifelong fan of daytime TV, I couldn’t be more thrilled about ITV’s lineup for their Christmas special! The quartet of Ben Shephard, Cat Deeley, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary never fail to entertain, and this year promises to be no exception. With the addition of famous guests like Josie Gibson, Phil Vickery, Gyles Brandreth, Ian Waite, Rob Brydon, Sian Welby, Tina O’Brien, Jack P Shepherd, Ben Price, and even a visit from the Queen of Soaps Sharon Marshall, it’s going to be an unmissable extravaganza!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve learned ITV has confirmed the hosts for This Morning’s Christmas special! It’s going to be a joyous gathering indeed, as a cherished team takes their seats on the sofa once more.
2021’s event will be led by Ben Shephard, Cat Deeley, Alison Hammond, and Dermot O’Leary. They will be accompanied by various well-known personalities, with Josie Gibson being one of them as she embraces the holiday season.
Of course, during the show, we’ll have a part dedicated to food where Chef Phil Vickery shares helpful tips for enhancing your Christmas dinner with clever techniques. Meanwhile, Gyles Brandreth will delight us with a unique and festive poem.

Additionally, a lively part called ‘Where Are They Now?’ featuring Sian Welby interviewing Olivia Olson about her part in ‘Love Actually’, will be included. This won’t be the only homage to the movie, as the hosting team will reenact the famous doorway scene starring Keira Knightley and Andrew Lincoln, which is an iconic moment from the film.
In addition, professional dancer and ex-star of “Strictly Come Dancing,” Ian Waite, will make an appearance. Meanwhile, Rob Brydon discusses his recent experiences while filming the finale of “Gavin & Stacey.
Eventually, a visit to Weatherfield is planned since Coronation Street is wrapping up Helen Worth’s character, Gail Platt. Sharon Marshall, known as the Queen of Soaps, recently dropped by the set for an interview with Tina O’Brien, Jack P Shepherd, and Ben Price.
Earlier this month, it was announced that ITV would be airing a special Christmas edition of “This Morning.” Emma Gormley, ITV’s Daytime Managing Director, expressed her enthusiasm about getting into the holiday mood.

Once again this holiday season, we’re excited to unveil our festive broadcast schedule. Among the highlights are the return of ‘Good Morning Britain’, ‘Lorraine’, and ‘This Morning’ on Christmas Day, as well as ‘Loose Women’ leading up to New Year’s,” she announced.
As the holiday season approaches and the days grow shorter, I can hardly contain my excitement! It’s time for us to create some festive magic right here at our studio, just like we do every year. I can’t wait to share this enchanting experience with you all back home!
The This Morning Christmas special airs at 10am on ITV1 on Christmas Day.
