It's time to push Daniel Garcia to the top

As a passionate wrestling fan with years of experience under my belt, I wholeheartedly agree that Daniel Garcia deserves a significant push in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). I’ve seen his potential since his days at Ring of Honor, and it’s time for AEW to capitalize on it.

Daniel Garcia continues with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). During the October 9 episode of their show, Garcia, who is 26 years old, made it clear that he’s sticking around in the promotion. After what seemed like a potential departure, AEW now holds an essential asset for the future. However, the focus should be on advancing Garcia to the top spot right away.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement following the October 9 Fightful Select report hinting at substantial creative plans for Garcia in the future. I truly hope these plans involve some impressive victories against top-tier stars and a well-deserved shot at becoming the AEW World Champion.

At one point in time, I found myself on an unstoppable journey towards any recognition I could achieve. I held the Ring of Honor Pure Championship and was determined to dethrone Chris Jericho from his ROH World Championship title. Regrettably, the infamous Jericho Vortex struck again, draining my momentum. Remarkably, I managed to regain some of that momentum during the Continental Classic, even amid a series of losses. However, following the surge of support I received after that, I was inexplicably pushed aside.

It’s important that such an event doesn’t recur. Given his contract status was uncertain when he faced MJF, it’s reasonable he accepted the defeat. However, when MJF comes back, Garcia must secure a significant win against him. After that, he should build momentum. If there’s a Championship Contender match planned for 2024, Garcia would be an ideal candidate to seize victory this year. Picture Daniel Garcia vs. Kazuchika Okada, with Garcia emerging victorious.

AEW boasts numerous titles, but none compare to the prestige of the AEW World Title. If Danielson were to lose it to Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream, then Andrade El Idolo (Garcia) should be next in line. He ticks all the boxes – he’s charismatic, well-liked by fans, and can work seamlessly with any fellow performer. He’s already one of the best technical wrestlers in the industry, and at a young age, he ranks among the best globally. AEW could potentially mold him into a cornerstone for the future.

For quite some time now, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has had an on-and-off relationship with Daniel Garcia. Since it’s been confirmed that he will remain with the company, it’s high time for him to soar to great heights, as Trevor Lee would say, “Upwards and onward to new heights!
