And the pinnacle of modern-day TikTok romance is Campbell ‘Pookie’ Puckett and Jett.
The Atlanta pair currently captivating social media boasts almost three million followers collectively on TikTok and Instagram. They stir emotions online and simultaneously increase their wealth.

The portrayal they create sets a bar so high and unattainable, particularly for young women who aspire to marry one day. It’s this expectation that often seems detached from reality.
Expressing an authentic love for sale may stir stronger emotions compared to discussing morning wellness habits or a perfectly prepared avocado toast. However, does that not give the impression of it becoming overly commercialized or less genuine?
Undeniably, these love stories serve as a lasting source of interest, particularly from couples who originated on reality shows, attempting to maintain their spotlight through manufactured relationships, to the surging popularity of shows like Love Island and The Bachelor, which promote attractive coupleship.
But what happens when the mask slips?
In the most favorable scenario, during a divorce, the shared social media accounts are considered as financial properties and divided accordingly – a novel circumstance for digital-age content creators. On the contrary, it could lead to a controversy or scandal.
In the best-case scenario, when going through a divorce, joint social media accounts are treated as assets and split up fairly, marking a unique challenge for digital era creators. At its worst, it can result in a disreputable situation.
In truth, the alluring illusion of love crafted for Instagram isn’t always as flawless as it may appear in images.
