As a long-time fan of Blue Bloods who’s seen every episode like it’s my own family gathering, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment as we approach the series finale. This show has been a staple in my weekly viewing routine, and I was hoping for at least one more season to truly tie up all those loose ends. But alas, here we are.

We’ve concluded an epoch as we prepare for the last episode of Blue Bloods. Frankly, there’s no preparation needed for a series that many of us believe should have been granted at least one more season. The show truly deserved to conclude with a landmark season.

However, here we find ourselves. The series was informed in advance that it would conclude, providing an opportunity to tie up numerous plot threads. Consequently, the grand finale is shaping up to potentially involve a significant character from the Reagan family meeting their end.

There’s a funeral in Blue Bloods season 14, episode 18

As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming episode knowing full well that it involves a heartfelt farewell. Noticeably absent from this poignant occasion is Officer Badillo, which has stirred speculation among us fans, suggesting that he may be the one being bid adieu. This revelation, announced in conjunction with the series finale news, has understandably raised concerns and emotions among us loyal viewers.

In the promotional clip, Nancy Ticotin is seen standing with the American flag, suggesting a solemn farewell scene for the fallen officer, as Adriana Badillo has been cast by Ticotin in the series, and they are positioned off to one side alongside the Reagans.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but speculate that this seems to be the culmination of our beloved series. If by any chance, one of the Reagan family members met an untimely end in the final episode, there would have undeniably been chaos among fans like myself! It’s too monumental a moment to risk it all on such a dramatic twist.

Additionally, there’s a potential danger to the mayor’s life hinted in the promo. The scene suggests he may have been shot, and it’s possible that the funeral could be for him. However, this seems highly improbable given Adriana Badillo is at the forefront of the funeral procession.

In this upcoming episode, all the NYC gangs will unite, creating an atmosphere of heightened vigilance. Their objective is to secure the release of their incarcerated members who are awaiting trial. They believe in strength in numbers, which is leading to threats against the mayor and the police.
