Wedding DJ Fat Tony shared the full story of the dance during an interview on the show This Morning.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! So, Tony was telling me all about it, and apparently, Marc Anthony was killing it on stage, right? And then, get this, he just… called Brooklyn up there with him! Can you even imagine?! It was insane!
Brooklyn stepped onto the stage, and everyone immediately anticipated Nicola would be next for the first dance. Then, Marc unexpectedly asked the most beautiful woman in the room to join him on stage, and called for Victoria to come up.
He shared that Brooklyn appeared deeply upset that he danced with Victoria instead of his wife, and Nicola reportedly left the room in tears.
Tony continued, explaining that Brooklyn was left on stage during a performance, and Marc Anthony jokingly told the audience to ‘put your hands on your mother’s hips.’ It was a culturally specific moment that made everyone in the room feel uncomfortable.
I’ve catered many events for the Beckham family, and they’re a very close and lively group who really enjoy dancing. What some people might consider inappropriate isn’t how Brooklyn sees things.
Ultimately, whether something felt wrong depends on how Brooklyn perceived it. If he found it uncomfortable or inappropriate, then it was, for him.
It’s disappointing that people have focused on this one part of what was said and ignored everything else that happened.
The DJ told the Daily Mail that Brooklyn once had his hands around his mother’s waist, while she had her arms wrapped around his neck.
‘The timing was inappropriate for me.
‘It was meant to be a bride and groom’s moment,’ he told us.
I’m not taking sides, I’m just clarifying what actually happened with the dance.
