With Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s also time for Galentine’s Day – a popular celebration of female friendship! It started as a funny idea on the US TV show Parks and Recreation and has since become a real holiday. You can currently watch Parks and Recreation for free in the UK.

The popular comedy show, starring Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt, had one of its most famous episodes in 2010. It was the sixteenth episode of its second season, which was generally well-liked by viewers.

The episode, called ‘Galentine’s Day,’ features Amy Poehler’s character, Leslie Knope, hosting a party for her close female friends, like Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones) and Donna Meagle (Retta).
