It’s Emily… in Asda! She’s filming a Calvin Klein advert but Lily Collins keeps warm in a £38 coat flogged by supermarket giant
As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for fashion and a deep appreciation for the authenticity of individuals, I find Lily Collins to be an inspiring figure in today’s entertainment industry. Her ability to seamlessly transition between high-end couture and affordable everyday wear is not only refreshing but also speaks volumes about her character.
In the show “Emily in Paris,” Emily is often seen sporting high-end fashion labels that, given her character’s financial situation, are typically outside of what she could realistically afford.
But in real life, it seems, actress Lily Collins has more modest tastes.
Last week, the 35-year-old model was spotted shooting an ad for Calvin Klein‘s high-end collection. However, between takes, she wore a budget-friendly coat priced at only £38, which is available at Asda.
As Lily, aged 35, with my timeless bob haircut, I embraced the chilly November weather by donning the economical yet stylish longline black coat from the affordable George range at my local market.
In a casual setting or high-fashion attire, I effortlessly carry myself with equal grace and elegance. While modeling Calvin Klein’s delicate pink shift dress and trousers, I ensured the camera caught a clear glimpse of the designer’s emblem, carefully positioned my bag to do so.
The actress, who is the daughter of the ex-lead vocalist of Genesis band, Phil Collins, has just taken on her character, Emily Cooper (a fashion PR), once more for the fourth season of the popular Netflix series titled Emily In Paris.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement as the dazzling series gets another lease of life with a fifth season! Yet, here’s an intriguing tidbit – our beloved Lily has been hinting at something even more exhilarating: a spin-off! Can you believe it? Set in the heart of London, she’s been pitching this idea, exclaiming, “It would be simply delightful!” Now, wouldn’t that be a dream come true for us fans?
The actress, wedded to U.S. director and scriptwriter Charlie McDowell (son of Malcolm McDowell from A Clockwork Orange), is presently gracing the West End stage for the first time in a part that shares similarities with her on-screen persona.
In Barcelona, the character portrays an American traveler who unintentionally finds herself entangled in a risky political scheme after spending time with an attractive Spanish man.
She’s also appeared lately in MaXXXine, the third part of the X horror series, which features Kevin Bacon as her co-star.
