It’s de-lovely, it’s official: Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman hold hands on L.A.-area date
For Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman, it seems Monday evening was a swell night for romance.
Actors who starred in “Anything Goes” (award-winning) and “The Greatest Showman,” were spotted this week on a dinner date followed by a leisurely stroll in Santa Monica. This outing seems to confirm their relationship, which has been a topic of paparazzi speculation for a year now. Snapshots published by People and TMZ depict these two, who previously co-starred in “Music Man,” walking hand-in-hand with smiles exchanged between them.
56-year-old Jackman is spotted donning a dark jacket, a gray tee, white denim pants, and black sneakers. The actress from “Once Upon a Mattress,” Foster, aged 49, is dressed in an olive gown, a light-brown trench coat, dark heels, and a handbag.

The ‘Once Upon a Mattress’ performance by Encores! at New York City Center, featuring Sutton Foster, is set to make its way straight from Broadway to the Ahmanson Theatre.
Two months following the filing for divorce by Foster from screenwriter Ted Griffin, both were spotted together publicly for the first time. Known for her roles on Broadway and TV series like “Bunheads” and “Younger,” Foster ended her 10-year marriage with Griffin. They are proud parents to a child they adopted in 2017.
More recently, Jackman parted ways with his long-term partner Deborra-Lee Furness. In September of 2023, the highly acclaimed actor who was nominated for an Oscar for “Les Misérables” and Furness announced their decision to separate following 27 years of marriage. A few months after their announcement, gossip magazine In Touch claimed that the star of “Wolverine” had formed a bond with Foster, which apparently developed while they were working together in the production of “The Music Man,” from December 2021 to January 2023.
In 2022, both Foster and Jackman were nominated for a Tony Award due to their performances in the revival of Meredith Willson’s musical.

I’m sharing some personal news – after a decade, I’ve chosen to part ways with my husband, screenwriter Ted Griffin. There have been whispers about my relationship status with my former co-star, Hugh Jackman, but it’s essential to clarify that this is just speculation at the moment.
A couple had their dinner date in Santa Monica a few days after Deuxmoi shared a photo of Jackman and comedy legend Carol Burnett together at the Ahmanson Theatre. These two celebrities were watching a Saturday performance of “Once Upon a Mattress,” where Hugh Jackman was the star, and Carol Burnett had made her Broadway debut as Princess Winifred’s original character in 1959.
In a picture after the show, Fred was twice represented,” Foster wrote as the caption. “I adore you, Carol Burnett.
