Italian Nonna Roasts Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala Look: ‘Looks Like Pyjamas!’

TikTok star Italian Nonna has weighed in on A-list fashion choices from this year’s Met Gala.

In a similar vein, Sydney-based grandmother Nonna Fina, who frequently evaluates celebrities’ attire on her granddaughter Maddie’s social media platforms, didn’t hold back even when it came to Kim Kardashian.

Known for their biting wit, the popular social media personality mercilessly criticized Kim’s stylish black leather Chrome Hearts ensemble adorned with a strand of pearls.

Nonna observed, “What’s the purpose of that side-worn necklace? It’s quite appealing, yet seems peculiar.” She rated the overall ensemble a 6 out of 10.

In another part of the video, she criticized singer Chappell Roan’s unusual pink suit on the red carpet.

‘Oh this looks like pyjamas,’ Nonna complained. 

‘They look like they just come out of bed.’

Additionally, Nonna critiqued the striking, black dress designed by Miranda Kerr, which seamlessly blended traditional high fashion with avant-garde sophistication.

‘Oh Mama Mia,’ Nonna exclaimed in her review of the former model’s show-stopping dress.

Among other points, Nonna’s online Met Gala summary also featured criticism of American singer Sabrina Carpenter’s revealing outfit.

She remarked, “It seems to me that the upper part suggests she’s heading to work, while the lower part gives off a beach vibe.

Singer Rihanna’s Marc Jacobs suit also left Nonna unimpressed.

‘I don’t know this looks confusing,’ the Tik Tok sensation said reviwing the outfit.

‘It looks like she tied a jumper on the [wrong way round].

‘The front is nice but the back looks funny to me.’ 

Meanwhile, Noona revealed she was a fan of Kendall Jenner’s stylish retro red carpet look.

‘Well its a little boring, but it’s elegant,’ she said before giving the outfit 8 out of 10.

Fans were quick to throw support behind Nonna’s opinions.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but chuckle at the thought that the sole purpose of attending the MET Gala is to bask in the wisdom and critiques of none other than Nonna afterwards!

‘She’s back. Savage Nonna,’ added another.

One playful fan sent a message saying, “Could you arrange for Grandma to do live commentary on the red carpet next year?

Nona Fina is well known for sharing her honest opinion on red carpet looks at major events. 

She also recently gave her unfiltered review of this year’s Oscar gowns.

None of the stars were spared from Nonna’s criticism, as she made pointed remarks about celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Zoe Saldana, Timothée Chalamet, and Lily-Rose Depp, to name a few.
