It Takes Two Has Surpassed 20 Million Copies Sold
As a gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that It Takes Two has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the industry. Having played countless games from various genres, I’ve rarely come across one that manages to strike such a perfect balance between humor, storytelling, and gameplay mechanics.
Developer Hazelight Studios has revealed that their exceptional cooperative adventure game, “It Takes Two”, which was published under the EA Originals label in 2021, has surpassed 20 million copies sold. This milestone was reached just one year after the game had already sold 5 million copies.
It seems that the sales pace hasn’t significantly decreased compared to when it was first released over three years ago, accumulating an astonishing amount of success. As expressed on a recent tweet by writer and director Josef Fares, “I can hardly believe it!
As a gamer myself, I can’t express enough how amazing it feels to see you all connecting with our game on such a deep level. Your enthusiasm is truly mind-blowing! On behalf of everyone at Hazelight Studios, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of the millions who have spent their time with Cody and May. It means the world to us.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that I can play the game “It Takes Two” on my Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or even on my PC!
Beyond my wildest dreams!
